Suhari Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 (edited) Great touch from Adam; poachers goal from j-Rod. Edited 28 October, 2012 by Suhari I was talking ********.
corky morris Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Jay Rod has just scored- oh dear!! Clearly not watched Saints this season then. Adkins played him on the wing. He is a striker!!!! Can play at any tempo they want, This squad are just to weak for this league if you can't see it then clearly your a idiot, keeper is sluggish, fullbacks are useless, and the defence well put it this way might aswell play 8 at the back. Jrod watched every game wtf has he done for us? put him on the bench or loan him out at this level he isn't there yet. Spurs are doing us and credit to them look at the football they are playing, Confident, Pacey and authoritative Saints havent got a clue in comparison. Someone clearly is out of there depth that's not negativity that's reality if something doesn't change soon well the only way is back to the championship. No Ramirez will not save this club let's get realistic we need a new back line and a decent keeper and to build from the back.
Aura Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 if we even get a point from this take it and bloody run
Window Cleaner Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 nothing like a bit of specific slagging to make a player score.
mulletsaint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Get the feck in!!! Now c'mon Saints. You owe me for attempting to ruin my 40th last Saturday.
Thedelldays Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 rodriguez nearly equalises...great ball from lambert
Badger Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Need to hang on to Adkins. This game was always a write off. Cant afford to play like this against the **** teams like West Ham though. Thats when I get ****ed off. Agreed re NA but: We seem to trot a similar line out every week though. Even after the Wigan debacle people were saying "shouldn't have underestimated them, " "experienced " "formidable team" etc. Even W Ham "didn't realistically expect anything ".. What does this leave, a showdown mini-league with QPR,Reading..and who else ?
Thedelldays Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 lambert nearly...corner..great play by mayuka saints have decided to play at last...
corky morris Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Higher up the park - with pace...........................It aint rocket science!!

SNSUN Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 What does this leave, a showdown mini-league with QPR,Reading..and who else ? Villa and Norwich IMO. Villa have been torn apart and added to with mediochre players, Norwich's defence is nearly as bad as ours but they have less attacking threat. QPR are good enough to get out of it, and the January transfer window will make things more interesting. My bottom 3 currently is Reading, Norwich and Us, not in that order. That can change though. I was looking at the 93-94 season on Wikipedia the other day. (Branfoot's last in charge.) We only won one game at the start of the season for ages, had a decent spell in January/February, and picked a few results up at the end of the season thanks to Alan Ball centering on MLT and the Norwich 5-4 win spurring us on. That sort of scenario can happen again, even if it doesn't seem like that at the moment. We need to ride out this form, do as well as we can, and hope that our time comes this season to have a good spell.
Thedelldays Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 we have gone 433 now...j-rod left and lallana in the hole
trousers Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Mayuka's pace is what we needed from the start
SNSUN Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Villa and Norwich Great minds. (Or just that it's pretty obvious!) COYS
Thedelldays Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 brilliant play up front...nearly a goal..corner mayuka has made a massive difference

A couple of diffferences though that season, Ball was a tremendous motivator, Le Tiss at his imperious prime, and we had several players who cared, and a team spirit.
Thedelldays Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 davis for guly...how many attackers are we going to have..?
Dig Dig Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 davis for guly...how many attackers are we going to have..? Enough for us to maybe equalise?
alpine_saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 davis for guly...how many attackers are we going to have..? Its our equivalent of a Hail Mary pass - NAs job must be on the line today (though maybe J-Rods goal has saved him for yet another week)
Badger Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 davis for guly...how many attackers are we going to have..? well at least we know we are likely to have one less player defending at corners.
Window Cleaner Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 davis for guly...how many attackers are we going to have..? you get zero points for losing 2-1 same as 6-1 so might as well go for it.
Hamilton Saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Author Posted 28 October, 2012 Enough for us to maybe equalise? And, then to win!
alpine_saint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 well at least we know we are likely to have one less player defending at corners. One less to screw up.
CanadaSaint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Spurs are completely there for the taking.
de-fence Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Why oh why have those substitutions been made at a time when we are putting on consistent pressure. Leave it as it is! If it ain't broke don't fix it!
Badger Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Reeves for Fox ? Any particular reason for this ?
washsaint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Alpine - why don't you just F*** off and go and support someone else you miserable tosser....all you ever do is moan and complain......you're a waste of space. Get behind them ffs.

SNSUN Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Yes, remember that season well. A couple of diffferences though that season, Ball was a tremendous motivator, Le Tiss at his imperious prime, and we had several players who cared, and a team spirit. Branfoot lasted 'til January. Say Adkins does the same, we just need a decent motivator. Someone to get the best out of the players we have. I always preferred being able to sign players all season too. Much more exciting.
VectisSaint Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Why pick on Alpine - there are plenty of others saying the same thing. There aren't many (any?) that are just so interminably negative as Alpen, now I remember why I always go to home matches (except today), its to avoid being depressed by our little Austrian bundle of joy.
Badger Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 Branfoot lasted 'til January. Say Adkins does the same, we just need a decent motivator. Someone to get the best out of the players we have. I always preferred being able to sign players all season too. Much more exciting. If there is a change, it will be before January to enable the new manager to select players he wants in that window. That way, we can look forward to the likes of Oliver Barnard, and Callum Davenport all over again. More reason to keep NA - don't think anyone questioned his man management, or motivation over the last two seasons.
Badger Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 C'mon Saints a little F'kin goal now will do...
Dr Who? Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 We can play, but confidence is such a huge part of football. Once we turned it around against Vila we were a joy to watch.
Badger Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 c'mon you c^nters, just a f'kin goal... a richochet off Guly's arse will do
Badger Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 when did we last score or nick something in injury time ?
Window Cleaner Posted 28 October, 2012 Posted 28 October, 2012 when did we last score or nick something in injury time ? Fulham ?
