Tractor_Saint Posted 24 October, 2012 Posted 24 October, 2012 Yes it should be in this section rather than the muppet thingy Unfortunately the missus only took her phone with her so not great pics from today's corporate event but wanted to share as I was really interested in seeing the pics so thought others on here might too (but I'm sure there are many that have already seen behind the scenes so apologies). Firstly, what have you been drinking? A game of two halves.. home dressing room: Away dressing room Away 'en suite' lol Inspiration poster part II
Nexstar Posted 24 October, 2012 Posted 24 October, 2012 Ceiling in the away dressing room used to be black
sotonist Posted 24 October, 2012 Posted 24 October, 2012 lighting is a bit weird. Guess that explains the scary player profile photos over the last couple of years.
Colinjb Posted 24 October, 2012 Posted 24 October, 2012 They even redecorated the away dressing room since I did Soccer Aid, interesting pictures. Thankyou.
DJ_TOAST Posted 24 October, 2012 Posted 24 October, 2012 lovin the difference between home and away dressing rooms lol
Wade Garrett Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 The away dressing room at the Dell wouldn't have looked out of place at the Veracity ground.
paris Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 Too much light in the away dressing room otherwise what a contrast ..........
spyinthesky Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 The away dressing room at the Dell wouldn't have looked out of place at the Veracity ground. It smelt similar too!!
paris Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 I take it the radiator in the bathing area is just for show and doesn't actually work ...........
Tractor_Saint Posted 25 October, 2012 Author Posted 25 October, 2012 Found out a few more things about the tour last night... - In the home dressing room the players have safes in the cupboards above their heads to put their valuables in - In the tunnel, where the away team lines up before going onto the pitch, there are huge silhouettes of saints players from floor to ceiling. In contrast, on the home side wall the silhouettes are a lot smaller. - Nigel requested that the away changing room was updated a bit (hence the comments from folks here that it's changed) - If there's a pre-match tour from corporates or whomever all the players shirts are turned around to ensure that those visiting don't see who's playing - Players usually know the day before a match if they are playing or not
Wes Tender Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 Found out a few more things about the tour last night... - In the home dressing room the players have safes in the cupboards above their heads to put their valuables in Surely the safes are no longer necessary since the departure of Bradley Wright-Phillips and Nathan Dyer?
Bartosz Bialkowski Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 The quote used to be "Defence Wins Championships" on the wall.... That explains it then
Supersubpuckett Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 I wonder how many of the squad know what assertive means
St.Jeweller Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 Does anyone else answer NO to all 10 questions?
Tractor_Saint Posted 25 October, 2012 Author Posted 25 October, 2012 Does anyone else answer NO to all 10 questions? Nearly but I used poetic licence on the "Do you drink 4-5 litres of fluid a day". It doesn't classify what kind of liquid..
bridge too far Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 Disappointed there are no pics of players (in the buff)
Dr Who? Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 Does anyone else answer NO to all 10 questions? I work in an office!
Stu Man Do Posted 25 October, 2012 Posted 25 October, 2012 Ceiling in the away dressing room used to be black The fella who took me round told us the FA(?) or perhaps it was the refs decided that we had made it TOO intimidating for away teams and ordered a change. The seats in the away changing room are also too wide to sit back against the wall on without being really uncomfortable! I also seem to remember he said that Arsenal once smashed up the away changing rooms after losing to us and Portsmouth were the only side, in his words, thick enough to ignore the "don't warm up in the goal mouth" signs.
KK the 2nd Posted 26 October, 2012 Posted 26 October, 2012 Nearly but I used poetic licence on the "Do you drink 4-5 litres of fluid a day". It doesn't classify what kind of liquid.. Agree with yes to 2. Also yes to 8 ... do you regularly have a massage!
twopintsnilnil Posted 26 October, 2012 Posted 26 October, 2012 Away bathroom looks like the setting for a series of particularly unpleasant murders. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Hatch Posted 26 October, 2012 Posted 26 October, 2012 Are those Saints tiles , seen in the away bathroom, available in the club shop?
paris Posted 26 October, 2012 Posted 26 October, 2012 I think the instillation of faulty flickering bulbs in the away dressing room could be a good idea .....
Saint Mikey Posted 26 October, 2012 Posted 26 October, 2012 The away dressing room at the Dell wouldn't have looked out of place at the Veracity ground. What the old one, where you had to share a dressing room with all the teams playing?! Was interesting post-match if there'd been a particularly fesity game...

Guan 2.0 Posted 26 October, 2012 Posted 26 October, 2012 Where is question 11? "Have you seen my spoon?"
david in sweden Posted 26 October, 2012 Posted 26 October, 2012 Away bathroom looks like the setting for a series of particularly unpleasant murders. ....or the right setting for wrist-slashing suicides in the event of defeats.....
Tractor_Saint Posted 10 November, 2012 Author Posted 10 November, 2012 One I forgot to mention... Did you know the roof of the Chapel has perspex at the end because otherwise the sun would never reach the goal at that end.
