Mr X Posted 23 October, 2012 Share Posted 23 October, 2012 For me lending him out for the whole season is a joke exactly the kind of poacher and physical player we needed against westham. J rod is probably technically better? Thoughts ?

eurosaint Posted 23 October, 2012 Share Posted 23 October, 2012 Perhaps Tadanari Lee will prove to be better than either of them ! Hope he gets a chance soon !
Mowgli Posted 23 October, 2012 Share Posted 23 October, 2012 J Rod is here and playing. Sharp is not. J Road makes more of a difference. Next question?
Supersubpuckett Posted 23 October, 2012 Share Posted 23 October, 2012 sharp is too slow for the prem - we're keeping him warm for when we get relegated

eelpie Posted 23 October, 2012 Share Posted 23 October, 2012 J-Rod is better and contributes more. HTH. But it is unlikely that goal poacher Billy Sharp would have missed so many chances in front of goal. HTH
sfc4prem Posted 23 October, 2012 Share Posted 23 October, 2012 But it is unlikely that goal poacher Billy Sharp would have missed so many chances in front of goal. HTH I think you overestimate his goal-poaching ability.
S-Clarke Posted 23 October, 2012 Share Posted 23 October, 2012 Why do players turn into world baters when they are either injured, or not playing for us? He was a decent player for us, don't get me wrong, but the same goes for Harding/Hammond and now Sharp - they're not world beaters and they moved on for a reason. It doesn't take a genius to see that Jay has much more to him in terms of an all round game, and I fail to see exactly what Sharp would have done on Saturday that Jay didn't. Can Sharp defend?
