Ponty Posted 20 November, 2008 Posted 20 November, 2008 I've noticed recently that women have far more front when it comes to taking things back or challenging shop staff than us blokes. Maybe we're not as passive-aggressive as women so elect not to start a confrontation in a shop unless under extreme circumstances.

When they describe a situation of a shop assistant or similar giving them bad service they elect to talk in a voice or rather tone, of the person. It is nearly always mega over the top and no man on the planet has ever heard anyone come across so snotty or rude ever.

If I buy something which doesnt fit or look right (after much umming and arring when i get home), It just goes into the wardrobe and never gets worn. Another bloke thing... not trying clothes on in shops

Ponty Posted 20 November, 2008 Posted 20 November, 2008 Proving the saying: Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
scott_saints Posted 20 November, 2008 Posted 20 November, 2008 I never try clothes on in shops. My ex missus kept pestering me to do so and I calmly stated "I never have and never will try clothes on in shops. You can't change me". Little did I know that she would store the "You can't change me" bit of the sentence and hold it against me for years. Bloody women.

Nah, she merely just brought it up in every argument that occured afterwards. We split up 'cause we both cheated on each other, being the lovely couple we were!

Jillyanne Posted 20 November, 2008 Posted 20 November, 2008 I never try clothes on in shops, waste of time, take them home and try them on, take said clothes back if they don't fit - end of. I also HATE shopping and West Quay this time of year is my worst nightmare and I shall not be going anywhere near the place.

Surely the waste of time is in actual fact getting home, finding they don't fit, then having to go back to the shop and exchange them...as opposed to just trying the clothes on? Oh and my ebay suit fits like a glove before anyone says anything...five leg holes, etc...
