spyinthesky Posted 18 October, 2012 Posted 18 October, 2012 Is it possible to upgrade a childs season ticket (he can't go to a forthcoming game) to an adult's match day ticket for one game by paying a differential?
Saint Garrett Posted 18 October, 2012 Posted 18 October, 2012 I think so, just speak to the ticket office and I think they can just do it there.
Dan Posted 18 October, 2012 Posted 18 October, 2012 Officially you can and are meant to upgrade it by paying the distance, but its a waste of time who ever uses it wont get any problems with a kids.

In the past you might have got away with it, but I think there are sensors on turnstiles show red light if someone tall tries using kids ticket now It is easy enough to upgrade ticket at ticket office i did it for my mates kids tickets for the Fulham game

Appreciate this may differ dependent on wher you sit in the stadium but an idea would help Many thanks

JackanorySFC Posted 18 October, 2012 Posted 18 October, 2012 As Dan says it's easy just to use a kids ST or match day ticket. Yes there is a sensor that displays an amber light when a concession goes in but only 1 bloke checking 4 turnstiles that is rarely looking anyway. Every game I get a little more annoyed I have an adult ST as I keep seeing the 16 y/o responsible for checking the lights picking his nose not even looking.

In fairness, my little boy is an under 11 and they always look round when the amber light goes off.
MrWoody83 Posted 18 October, 2012 Posted 18 October, 2012 they do check the tickets as a concession go through, have seen somebody try it in Family centre and fail.
krissyboy31 Posted 18 October, 2012 Posted 18 October, 2012 I think they're on a mission now and if you don't get the ticket upgraded properly, you could run the risk of the child season ticket being cancelled.
Junction 9 Posted 18 October, 2012 Posted 18 October, 2012 I didn't know about the amber light, I wonderedd how they policed that. I bought a concession ticket for my dad for the Fulham game. We went into the ground early at around 12:15 (13:30 k.o) and there wasn't a sole there checking tickets. He's 74 by the way.
