Serbia have got form. Can see FIFA being utter ******s and giving Serbia a tiny fine and even giving England one.

Serbia got a £16,000 fine the last time they did it. Imagine a suitably pathetic fine this time round. And yes, England will also likely get a fine for failing to control their players/staff.

FIFA - Fucking Incompetent Football Association.

I just hear boooos, thats it! If u want to hear monkey chants or sounds - u will. Nevertheless, its Serbia. They just hate blacks. thats it. fullstop.

Ahh. That's alright then, storm in a tea cup and all that. Shame on the England team reacting the way they did.

I wouldn't worry about it mate. Your post wasn't even close to being the most stupid one on the thread.

That footage is disgusting - this is from just behind the dugouts, normally the most sedate bit of the ground.

Edit - doesn't get better for Serbia: photo of a Serb headbutting the England physio. ****ing racist sore losers.

FIFA will probably fine England for being there and award the game to Serbia as the crowd only were requesting bananas from the vendors and the punches and head butts at the end were those well known Serbian gestures of congratulating us on winning. If they did not like us they would have shot everyone- isn't someone on trial for that at the moment also claimimg he is innocent

The reality is that UEFA will do very little. They will be seen to do something, a tiny fine. UEFA and FIFA are the epitome of what is wrong with the world - corruption, favouritism, fraud, you name it and they will be involved.

What should happen? Serbia should be banned from hosting any UEFA/FIFA sanctioned matches in their home country until the end of the 2014 World Cup. It is not safe for away teams to compete there.

Danny Rose may have been racially abused, he has every right to be upset (of course, understatement...), but his red card will stand as by law the referee was right to send him off. Any player or coach who is seen to be headbutting or even racially abusing another player should be hit with much bigger suspensions though.

A lot of Eastern Europeans, including our Latvian friend, have attitudes to race that would be termed backward here.

I'd like to say it's purely down to ignorance, but even when told basic stuff like "you shouldn't use n****r to refer to a black person", some will merrily continue to use it, knowing how offensive it is.

Latvian lad that shared my digs being informed that my grandfather is Pakistani:-

"You are not.... one hundred percent?"

On Poles:

"Bad peoples. They are not nice peoples"

An indication of what you're dealing with here.

I can only see him giving the guy a kiss to be honest. Serbians hate physios end off.

That's it, full stop.

Oddly... The Serbian skipper has come out and said that there is nothing to apologise for, nothing was wrong and the England players are equally to blame

Also, platini had warned Serbia last year that they risk being expelled from European competition after racist incidents last year.

Let's see, but I doubt it

Of course they won't. platini will no doubt say England players are as responsible as they shouldn't react to provocation and they incited the crowd.

The youtube footage doesnt really show what kicked it off and who was responsible, apart from Wickham scoring, of course.

Why was Rose red-carded ? Its all quite confusing to watch.

He booted the ball in to the crowd and got a second yellow.

Utterly pathetic and pedantic refereeing. Fights breaking out all over the pitch, and the only card he decides to dish out is the one to Rose!

Its always open-season when the England team or clubs play over in Europe.

UEFA and FIFA turn a blind eye to so much, I think the charges of institutional bias, corruption and racism are not so wide of the mark. Even their heads, Blatter and Platini, ill-conceal their hatred of England.

Well Blatter did say they should just shake hands and it will make it alright.

FIFA is still in the process of trying to frustrate an investigation into bribery and will inevitably do 10% of what they should do on this occassion as well. Looks like the football family is pretty disfunctional to me.

Whilst we tend to beat ourselves up on such matters, the UK is probably one of the most advanced in the world terms of how it deals with racism. Something we can be very proud of.

Just to put into context how serious FIFA and UEFA are about stamping out racism:

Niklas Bendtner was fined £80,000 after showing the tops of his underwear in the Euros and participating in a viral marketing scheme for Paddy Power.

Manchester City were fined £24,740 by Uefa for returning to the field less than a minute late against Porto in Match - a fine 50% greater than the one issued to Porto over the racial abuse of Mario Balotelli

A match between England and Serbia in the 2007 Under-21 European Championship in the Netherlands saw England defender Nedum Onuoha racially abused. Serbia were fined £16,000 by UEFA.

Hutch, you little devil. I see what you're doing here; trying to get poor old pap to jump arse first into a nest of racist vipers!

As to your question, I'm not saying all Latvians are racist, but many certainly have strong views about anyone who is not Latvian. Probably doesn't help that the Latvians were under the jackboot of Stalinism for so long, or that many of them willingly signed up for the jackboot of Nazism during WW2 ( which probably didn't amuse Stalin that much ).
