Maggie May Posted 15 October, 2012 Share Posted 15 October, 2012 Does anyone know when tickets go out on general sale?
Huffton Posted 15 October, 2012 Share Posted 15 October, 2012 Can't see it making general sale, I reckon this one will sell out long before then.
pingwing Posted 15 October, 2012 Share Posted 15 October, 2012 Wont even be on sale for another 4 weeks or so (seeing as West Brom away go on sale on Wednesday, 3 or so weeks before the game). Could just make general sale seeing how far away it is, but it is a 3pm kickoff and Liverpool is a funny day out so it'll be popular. (Feel everyone who did a trip to Tramere should be given an extra pat on the back point)
Saint Garrett Posted 15 October, 2012 Share Posted 15 October, 2012 I did Tranmere and Everton, and thinking about going to Anfield as I've never been there. Only problem is it's a very expensive weekend especially if the tickets are going to be £50. With it also being just before christmas, I would expect it to make general sale. pingwing Posted 15 October, 2012 Share Posted 15 October, 2012 This thread http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?38914-Premier-League-Away-Matches-Ticket-Prices covers speculation on ticket prices for away days. Liverpool is apparently £42 which is a fair bit. Got trains sorted for about £20 though as booking now will save loads!
Golden Balls Posted 15 October, 2012 Share Posted 15 October, 2012 Will go on general sale. We don't travel brilliantly up north and it will nearly be Xmas. Good weekend out though.

WHITEE1987 Posted 16 October, 2012 Share Posted 16 October, 2012 You dont get those points all in one hit though. Get them as each home game passes.
John Boy Saint Posted 16 October, 2012 Share Posted 16 October, 2012 Fairly disenchanted with this points business to the point of giving someone else the chance through me having a life away from Football and not really bothering to jump through hoops to go away: me and a few mates have had a few away days up and down the land over the past few years clocking up the miles, but that don't count for nowt (which is understanderble to a degree) but when someone we know who enjoys a mither probably makes one away day a year, if that, gets to go to Arsenal yet our "ticketmaster" is basically told you are not loyal enough to have an Arsenal ticket. Quite frankly the club can stick the points system up it's bum. If I get to go to Liverpool that would be nice, just got to remember to tear the £20 note in half for the parking "attendants". WHITEE1987 Posted 16 October, 2012 Share Posted 16 October, 2012 I don't know why they bothered with points. At no point this season have they turned around and said you need X points to attend this game. Its you have to have been to at least 2 or 3 of the following games to get an advanced ticket. The points seem pointless if you like!
JackanorySFC Posted 16 October, 2012 Share Posted 16 October, 2012 I think the points/ games attended system is absolutely fair. We were told in the summer what the score would be, I've done every away game and it's the same faces as previous seasons (and certainly will be at West Brom in a few Mondays), the idea that a load of people have suddenly decided to do away games is simply not true. Even Arsenal was easy enough to get a ticket for, those moaning are clearly terrible at organisation. This way is loads fairer than the old system, I couldn't get a ticket for Cardiff in 03 despite going to every home and 15 always (inc all Cup games), I didn't moan I just rocked up to Cardiff with a wallet full of cash for a tout. Our support is weak, man up, stop moaning and get up to the Hawthorns and get ya chances of future tickets up so you can stop boring me with sob stories about Tranmere away! Golden Balls Posted 16 October, 2012 Share Posted 16 October, 2012 Generally if you want a ticket, you'll get one.
