Spurs a sell out

Did you mention this in the Fulham attendance thread?

They argument about expanding the stadium is a good one

Regardless of the attendances very Fulham and Wigan... A bigger ground will see far more saints fans in the grounds over a season.. Our average attendance would probably rise quite a bit.... Despite still getting 28k-30k for the 4 or 5 unattractive home games and the odd cup game

Bring on a bugger ground, it's entirely what we need.

Wasn't relevant in the Fulham thread.

Would we have sold any less in that game if the stadium was bigger? No

Would we have sold any more in this game if the stadium was bigger? Yes

Will be interesting to see whether a 'sell out' is actually sold out. Man Utd was a 'sell out' despite the fact there were seats everywhere.

Corporate boxes and suites are way below capacity so it won't be a complete "sell out". But you're correct, against Man United there were swathes of empty seats in the regular areas of the ground; hopefully this has since been sorted out.

Only thing missing for the game was Redknapp managing Spurs. Biggest let down of the summer was him leaving Spurs as we wanted to spend 90 mins hurling abuse at him and missing the game... (the move to sunday sort of ruins that dream as well)

When are we playing QPR ? :D

Wow, looks like those idiots who think we shouldnt expand are looking quite foolish.

To extend would cost several thousand pounds per seat

To service this loan we need crowds in excess of 32,500 for most matches.

We would also need to be in the EPL for most years of the loan.

Don't think I would invest in such a business proposition!!!

Whoooooosh

To be fair, I thought yours was a serious comment too hypo.

Like PB the assumption probably had something to do with the fact that you are up there with the most tiresome numpties on here. If that was genuinely you having a sense of humour (Im still not convinced), then I must say I'm shocked.

I think this is the key point, regardless of the argument of a bigger stadium at the very least the club can ensure that when we do sell out weeks in advance that every ticket is actually sold and every seat possible is filled.

Plenty of block 2 aren't listed on the online booking stadium map so perhaps not a surprise.

Anyone know why this is?

Earlier in the season, a bloke behind me tried to buy a few tickets for his mates in Block 2, but was told it was completely sold out. Got to the game, finds about 10 empty seats in front of him.

I am not sure that the club has the ability to force people who have tickets or season tickets to actually show up on the day. I dont know how many empty seats are due to illness / car breakdown / serious hangover / arrest / ooh its cold and I live miles away, on the day of the game, but it is true for some

Weird, has not been on the online booking system at any point pre or during the season. We had to go to the stadium and specifically ask for our seats and still do if we have "guests" with us. I'm block 2 and always plenty of seats around me. Genuinely think the club (and more importantly the fans) are missing out here as, being right next to the away fans and not with the mongs in the Northam, it's a pretty desirable location that I believe would be snapped up pretty quickly.

They'd definitely be snapped up, I'm sure of it. It's quite embarrassing if the club proudly state that the game is sold out, and then right next to the away fans there's empty seats. I just don't understand why this is the case, why they seemingly aren't for sale.

I have 2 adults and one child (under 11) available in the Kingsland/Northam Corner at face value, I thought I could go but I've realised it's on Sunday, I'd like to sell them all together but can find out if I can upgrade the child if needed, PM ME!
