Johnny Shearer Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 Right after reading the paper the other day I got up and stretched. This was followed by a bout of dizziness and promptly fainted. Wound up bashing the computer desk with me back and ending up on me arse thinking WTF just happened? Is there something wrong with me??
bridge too far Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 Sudden drop in blood pressure. I get it all the time (well, sometimes). With me, it started when I was first pregnant and interestingly my daughter is experiencing the same thing with her pregnancy. Is your blood pressure the low side of normal? That is probably the cause of it. Because obviously you're not pregnant

Nope, its just me being fat. Ah drop in blood pressure interesting but a great head rush! :smt044

Window Cleaner Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 Oh bugger. Me mam recently found out she has diabetes. Think I'll go and get meself tested. Get checked out for Vertebral Arterial Insufficiency as well; more common in young women though. Sermion or Nicergolin usually lessens the effects, don't ask me why though. Blokes(and Ladies) have gone through med school for 9 years to be able to tell you that.
Baj Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 Sounds like Accute Inverted Diabetic Sysitus to me. Get yourself tested, there's two types, good and bad... fingers crossed
Johnny Shearer Posted 19 November, 2008 Author Posted 19 November, 2008 Too much exercise? Not enough at the moment.
Junction 9 Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 I was a GP until today but got sacked for some unknown reason.

bridge too far Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 I think too that cervical spondylitis can cause these symptoms. Cervical is nothing to do with women's things - it relates to the spine.
bridge too far Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 I was a GP until today but got sacked for some unknown reason. Probably your BNP membership
Junction 9 Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 Probably your BNP membership Thanks Crouchie.
bridge too far Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 J9's very funny joke didn't need explaining. Not everyone is as intelligent and savvy about current political debate as you, buddy

Johnny Shearer Posted 19 November, 2008 Author Posted 19 November, 2008 Maybe. Which paper were you reading? Daily Mail.
Weston Super Saint Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 Not enough at the moment. Getting up and stretching is pretty strenuous stuff. It'd bring me out in a rash
Kadeem Hardison Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 Do you really need GPS to tell you where your computer desk is?
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 20 November, 2008 Posted 20 November, 2008 Right after reading the paper the other day I got up and stretched. This was followed by a bout of dizziness and promptly fainted. Wound up bashing the computer desk with me back and ending up on me arse thinking WTF just happened? Is there something wrong with me?? I have these from time to time (although I dont feint), I wouldnt worry too much mate. If they happen regularly, then yes it could be something. Im no GP, but Im sure if you were lacking in sugar and got up quick, it could cause a dizziness and if you're not expecting it, it could cause you to feint.
thesaint sfc Posted 20 November, 2008 Posted 20 November, 2008 Low blood pressure. Has happened to me a few times. Doctor said its healthy can you believe? He said that my artery's won't get clogged up with sh*t.
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 20 November, 2008 Posted 20 November, 2008 FFS!!! will SOMEONE answer the fookin question?? is it just a generic name that is used to describe someone with certain ***tish characteristics? People have proposed that I am Crouchie reincarnated. I was not around when Crouchie posted on here (presuming he has not re-registered as another user (no not I_N_S)) I believe I have a similar 'posting' style (some may call it spamming) and I have been told I explain things like he used to. I can confirm I am not Crouchie though, however, the likes of Tiggs, Atticus, Wiltshire blah blah blah will still tell you otherwise, so Im happy for them to think what they want

Wound up bashing the computer desk with me back and ending up on me arse thinking WTF just happened? Is there something wrong with me?? Was there a nurse syringing out your ears at the time? I suspect not as it isn't something to forget to mention, although it happened to me when I stood up directly after that. Well, actually I didn't quite fall over, I just did a Trevor Berbick impression once he received a smack to the side of his head in the first round by Mike Tyson. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_MY3RtJUrD8
