Roger Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Been told 7 weeks maybe more can someone tell me that's rubbish please.
Golden Balls Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 I've heard 4 weeks but the person who said that usually doesn't have a clue
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Sounds like a very bad dead leg, I've had one where I couldn't walk properly for 6 weeks, so wholly probable.
Saint Garrett Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 I had a dead leg once, it lasted about 5 minutes. I hope Gaston will be ok for West Ham
Stepgar Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Adkinsnsaid it was severe as there was a lot of swelling. Has to go to,hospital for a couple of days they were that worried.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 I had a dead leg once, it lasted about 5 minutes. I hope Gaston will be ok for West Ham That isn't a proper dead leg then. Trust me, a bad one can put you in hospital.
matthewb Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 According to a Tweet from Radio Solent Ramirez had to go to hospital in the week to reduce the pressure in his leg!! Also along with Clyne they are not now going on International Duty.
The Kraken Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 I've missed it, but what was wrong with Clyne? The first I knew he wasn't playing was when the players came out of the tunnel.
Webby Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Anyone remember the dead leg that Mark Dennis got? It made the back page of the Sun. The pressure ripped his skin apart.
S-Clarke Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 I've missed it, but what was wrong with Clyne? The first I knew he wasn't playing was when the players came out of the tunnel. Just a little strain I believe, he should be alright for WHU. But at least we'll have him here during the international break. Ramirez is a worry if I'm honest. It doesn't sound like a good one.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 I used to give people dead legs just for sh1ts n goggs! Regret that now
sfc1971 Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 There is nothing wrong with him, He cannot play as he is not officially our`s yet as we have payed with a rubber check.
alpine_saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Seems to me some questions need to be asked about our training regimen.
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Seems to me some questions need to be asked about our training regimen. It's been like that for years. Are we worse than any other typical club?
alpine_saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 It's been like that for years. Are we worse than any other typical club? I dont have stats to hand, but there does seem to be a worrying trend of training-related injuries occurring.
St Lej Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 I dont have stats to hand, but there does seem to be a worrying trend of training-related injuries occurring. FFS, where's Bill Murray?
buctootim Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 What the eff has training techniques got to do with players getting deadlegs - which are impact / collision injuries - unless someone is suggesting we should have no contact training?
SaintBobby Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I dont have stats to hand, but there does seem to be a worrying trend of training-related injuries occurring. Do you have the stats anywhere? Genuine question. I haven't seen any evidence at all to suggest we get more training injuries than other clubs. Have you?
washsaint Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I remember Gerry Forrest going to hospital and his leg had swollen about 3 times the normal size. And the club had just given him some painkillers.
scotty Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I remember Gerry Forrest going to hospital and his leg had swollen about 3 times the normal size. And the club had just given him some painkillers. Painkillers?? Luxury. Now, when I were a kid, etc etc........
LostBoys Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I was told 6 weeks at the game - this is supposed to come from the physio staff - if so bad news
SO16_Saint Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I was told 6 weeks at the game - this is supposed to come from the physio staff - if so bad news He will be like a new signing when he returns
the stain Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I need to know for definite as I have in my fantasy team.
S-Clarke Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I was told 6 weeks at the game - this is supposed to come from the physio staff - if so bad news I seriously hope that's not the case. What a ****ter if true. Going into our most ''winnable'' batch of fixtures of the season, without our best player to call upon. Brilliant.
Window Cleaner Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I was told 6 weeks at the game - this is supposed to come from the physio staff - if so bad news Someone last week was saying that Morgan would be out for a good while with medial ligament problems, he was there on Saturday though. Thing is people make crap up and attribute it to "a good source within the club". Unless the player tweets info himself à la Jack Cork we won't ever know.
Saint Garrett Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Although I can see why they don't mention it, It is annoying that the fans are kept so far in the dark about who is fit.
Window Cleaner Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I've missed it, but what was wrong with Clyne? The first I knew he wasn't playing was when the players came out of the tunnel. Went off injured at the end of last week's game though, and as Saints operate a mushroom system on information about injuries it wasn't really a surprise.
Roger Posted 8 October, 2012 Author Posted 8 October, 2012 If he is out that long we are in big trouble.
THEVMAN Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I was told 6 weeks at the game - this is supposed to come from the physio staff - if so bad news That is pretty much correct information
trousers Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 That is pretty much correct information One word: Bugger
trousers Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Is that a 'best case' 6 weeks or 'worst case'? Cheers
wild-saint Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 If he is out that long we are in big trouble. why, we have been scoring goals without him. its conceding them that is the issue.
John B Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Been told 7 weeks maybe more can someone tell me that's rubbish please. Yes Complete Rubbish
Thedelldays Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 If he is out that long we are in big trouble. not at all...unless he is like vidic in defence
S-Clarke Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 That is pretty much correct information What a disaster.
St Chalet Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 (edited) Bugger. Based on six weeks he will miss. West Ham Spurs West Brom Swansea next games are QPR Newcastle Norwich Liverpool Edited 8 October, 2012 by St Chalet

Saint-Armstrong Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Makes you wonder if Clyne's dead leg is as it appears eh.....
St Chalet Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Physioroom saying he's back on the 20th October. I don't know where they get their info from: http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php Cant be true, Michael Owen is on there
THEVMAN Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Any idea how it happened. Did he collide with a post or something?I think the Saints coach driver whose a big fella sat on his knee and let rip with a massive fart ,this causing severe bruising of his upper leg.
Jonnyboy Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I think the Saints coach driver whose a big fella sat on his knee and let rip with a massive fart ,this causing severe bruising of his upper leg. Not to mention chemical burns.
Viking Warrior Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 I hear he has two broken legs a broken big toe following a 12lb steak falling on his foot . He is also suffering from a massive migraine due to the uber alles negative depressives on this forum other than that he's okay
S-Clarke Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Physioroom saying he's back on the 20th October. I don't know where they get their info from: http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php Even they've forgotten about Tadannari. Maybe it was all a dream, and we never actually signed him.
Doctoroncall Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Even they've forgotten about Tadannari. Maybe it was all a dream, and we never actually signed him. Sorry, who?
thornhill_saints Posted 8 October, 2012 Posted 8 October, 2012 Even they've forgotten about Tadannari. Maybe it was all a dream, and we never actually signed him. I saw Chung in town on Friday with his mates, walking back from the japanese restaurant by the standing order, his arm wasnt in a sling or cast, I said "alright chung" and gave him a slap on the shoulder, Just hope I didnt dislocate it as I had a few !
