I thought Puncheon was having a good game before he got subbed, so honorouble mention, and also one for Morgan and Adam who worked tirelessly, but it has to be Fonte. Not just for his match saving two goals but also for his much better defensive performance.

yes Fonte scored twice but overall game was not that good

Fonte with Gazza in second. Fonte got the goals and really performed well, Gazza looks to be coming a long, both goals took a harsh defection in but he made a lot of good saves.

 

Steven Davis and Schniderlin should get big mentions, making big tackles but both were guilty of a bit of hoof when good passing was really needed.

Fonte - two goals from a centre back, brilliant. But I thought Fox improved markedly. Have been critical of him this season but he played ok today.
