Glasgow_Saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 @officialsaints: Saints substitutes: K. Davis (GK), Hooiveld, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Mayuka, Chaplow, Reeves. #saintsfc Artur Boruc must be pleased
trousers Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Where's Gaton? Sorry if posted elsewhere. Dead leg
Ohio Saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 This game is totally winnable.....Which is worrying me now.
Thedelldays Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 If we don't win this game... We are in trouble Fulham are terrible
trousers Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Mark Bright saying we're pressing high up the field "just like Barcelona"!
trousers Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 That's about 50 passes worth of possession from Saints
tpbury Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 If we don't win this game... We are in trouble Fulham are terrible agree, but 2nd half will prob be diff story
Saintandy666 Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 If we don't win this game... We are in trouble Fulham are terrible I think we're playing well too.
Sheaf Saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 So far Fonte has managed to find a Fulham player with just about every clearing header today - even when under no pressure. It's like he's deliberately trying to give the ball away. It's only a matter of time before we concede IMO. Better pray we score another one or two because 1-0 won't do it.
JoeShmoe Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 If we can't beat this Fulham team there's no hope as they are woeful
Mr_Red Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Don't like the amount of possession we are allowing them but they aren't very effective when they have it so I guess it isn't the end of the world. Spiderman really is a talent, forwards all doing pretty well, fox ok but the reset of defence a little shaky.
DT Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Giving them way too much space and possession as usual. Look dodgy at back as usual.
trousers Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 "Should be an interesting Fulham locker room at half time" - Fox Soccer TV
JoeShmoe Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Wish we had a bit more width up front, Mayuka for JRod after 60 for me
Aura Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 If we can't beat this Fulham team there's no hope as they are woeful Agree fulham look bat average we should be 2-0 at halftime though had plenty of chances to go up another.
farawaysaint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Wish we had a bit more width up front, Mayuka for JRod after 60 for me J Rod has been everywhere, why sub him? 2nd half is where it gets interesting, can old Jol outfox Adkins? I bloody hope not.
Thedelldays Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Watching in pub... Atmosphere sounds shocking
Cheese on Toast Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 fox ok but the reset of defence a little shaky. Words I never thought I'de see
Saint-Armstrong Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Watching in pub... Atmosphere sounds shocking Tell them to put the volume on/up.
supersonic Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Rule number 1 of defending: don't let the ball bounce
Nexstar Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Fulham will improve (you would think) second half and we might rue those missed chances. Need to be more confident at the back, but doing very well considering the injuries.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Puncheon is very dangerous isn't he?
farawaysaint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Puncheon is very dangerous isn't he? I certainly wouldn't want to eet him down a dark alley Seriously though, he's impressed me loads this year.
Red Alert Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 I think it is safe to say Yoshida doesn't see himself as a full back. In fairness to him though he hasn't been woeful. Could do with a second early doors to settle us down, though I have just had a tenner on Fulham at 9/1 on bet365 if it all goes wrong - does this make me a bad fan?

JoeShmoe Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 We will need two as with Jose/Jos/Fox at the back and Maya out of position it's a matter of time before they get one

Cheese on Toast Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 We do always play better in the second half..

Could always put a tenner on "Julien Rodriguez" to score next. Can't see it myself though http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/southampton-v-fulham/next-goalscorer
Ohio Saint Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 So far, our championship side has had better penetration than their championship side. Lucky this ain't the Prem!!

Cheese on Toast Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 Looks like Ramírez isn't going to be getting into the team
Foxy Posted 7 October, 2012 Posted 7 October, 2012 We've looked pretty comfortable so far and probably should have gone in two up. I hope we don't live to regret punchy's silly flick at Schwartzer that stopped us being further ahead
