Arizona Posted 19 November, 2008 Posted 19 November, 2008 Right then... I think it's safe to say we should only bother turning up if we get 10 definites, so if nescessary we can pay £3 each for the floodlights. If we get at least 10 people, I reckon we can still turn up at 5pm and get a good 90 minutes in. Who's in this week? Arizona Robsk
Calvin Posted 21 November, 2008 Posted 21 November, 2008 Just call it off till the summer. People are scared of the cold and rain!
Robsk II Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 See? last week was ok, apparently, this week it's not. I don't get why we had plenty every week last winter. is it because it's cold? Because people have gone away? Deaths? Or just plebs like calvin being unreliable because they're lazy?
Arizona Posted 22 November, 2008 Author Posted 22 November, 2008 Well, Poindexter and Southern are in, but unless another 6 people sign up tomorrow morning, it aint gonna happen. Lazy cvnts...
Robsk II Posted 22 November, 2008 Posted 22 November, 2008 What about all the nobs who turned up last week? I thought loads came? And is nugget / mike back yet? They often bring some more. I MIGHT have one more.

Robsk II Posted 23 November, 2008 Posted 23 November, 2008 If enough people turn up, no-one just goes home again. It's the same for all of us.
Saints Noog Posted 23 November, 2008 Posted 23 November, 2008 I'm up for playing but there's no point if only 5 ppl are gonna turn up to play in the dark. If someone can confirm when the lights come on then i'd be happy to start then
Robsk II Posted 23 November, 2008 Posted 23 November, 2008 Are your other chaps coming? if we have enough, we could book..?
BotleySaint Posted 23 November, 2008 Posted 23 November, 2008 Rob, it didn't actually happen last week. We only had 7 turn up and it was pitch black. So not enough to book the pitch for lights, and lights weren't even guaranteed till 5:45-6ish anyway. So we all went home.
Robsk II Posted 23 November, 2008 Posted 23 November, 2008 Oh. This is ****. Should we seriously just scrub round the whole thing for the winter? I don't want to be keeping Sunday evenings free for this shambles. Or do you think it'll settle down into some consistency at some point?
Arizona Posted 23 November, 2008 Author Posted 23 November, 2008 I guess it's a no for this week aswell. This is the last Sunday I'll be in Southampton for probably at least a year, so that's one less. Maybe in the summer.
Robsk II Posted 23 November, 2008 Posted 23 November, 2008 I still don't quite understand this. Mike anda few others, Sunday morning matches or whatever, totally understand. But there seem to be a lot that have just stopped bothering.
