Turkish Posted 4 October, 2012 Share Posted 4 October, 2012 Plenty of excuses for this one. It's on a Sunday, on telly, weather forecast isn't great, we are boycotting the club until we hear about the loan and training ground, Fulham aren't a big draw, half term is close, saving for Christmas, we've got another home game this month. Anyone know how sales are going?

Turkish Posted 4 October, 2012 Author Share Posted 4 October, 2012 As of yesterday there were still over 2,800 home seats still on sale. Excellent. We often used to get walk ups of that many last time we were in the premier league, apart from the ones that sold out within hours and the ones where people didn't bother trying to get a ticket because they didn't think they'd get one. Anyone know how sales are going? Lolz. I think most people are completely oblivious to that bit. It's on the telly, no-one has any money, and has become very obvious recently, people won't pay if they don't have to. I also think a lot of fans have stopped following us since the last time we were in the Prem, for whatever reason. Even the ones who are still going have a different outlook on the importance of Prem matches since we enjoyed the lower leagues. Have to say I've been as surprised by our attendances as I have Lambert's goalscoring...

Mmmm.. I went online last night and logged in. It then allowed me to purchase 6 tickets in total for Spurs game and never asked for 'membership' numbers for the other 5. 1. It means people can buy as many as they want for 'non members' 2. I will now have to phone up to get the ticket allocated to their membership ( for potential loyalty reasons at a later date) Ballache

captainchris Posted 4 October, 2012 Share Posted 4 October, 2012 Whatever the fanbase, there's little doubt a truly efficient and simple ticketing system would increase sales. That's unforgivable. Poor service on the phone, often can't get through, I've never been able to do it online, they don't reply to my emails, you can't use debit card at the ground without charges. It's moronic from start to finish. Plus you have to know some sort of code or number for your name......??? Too many barriers......The last tickets left are always in the Chapel and no one wants to sit there! Chapel is such an apt name ....shooosh or you will upset the natives.... SaintBobby Posted 5 October, 2012 Share Posted 5 October, 2012 Hopefully, if we do sell more than 30,000 seats we might be able to afford to restart the building work at the training ground? If we get to 31,000, maybe the club will have the money to employ an architect to put some drawings together that we can all mutually w@nk over. I'm sure you'll all with me on this one. No need to do this thread for every game Your thoughts are typical of the negative, Dell sized mentality on this forum. The enlightened ones, the visionaries, know we have maxed out our stadium and we could definitely sell 45,000 against Villa dynamically priced at ten pound a pop. With kids for a quid. And we don't do debt as we are bankrolled by billionaires so thankfully it is all risk free. You need vision, son, like the intelligent posters on this forum. Build it now. FFS. The rest of us don't really care and find your (and others) constant negative trolling a reason to visit this forum less and less. Why is it negative trolling? We were told there was going to be a mad scramble for tickets this season what with us having 22,000 season ticket holders. As it stands it seems like including away fans we've only sold 5,000 for this with the same amount still being available. That isn't negative, that is a fact.
