Saint Mikey Posted 4 October, 2012 Share Posted 4 October, 2012 Buying a house very soon, just wondering if anyone has used any online conveyancing companies? Have been quoted £599 just for conveyancing (without all the normal fees), which seems a bit steep? So looking at other options. Anyone have any good/bad experiences of just using an online company? Dimond Geezer Posted 4 October, 2012 Share Posted 4 October, 2012 No idea about online companies, but we bought our first house through a conveyancer rather than a solicitor & saved ourselves a fortune. I have to say though it was a very simple transaction, the vendor was moving with her boyfriend & we were 1st timers.
goneawol Posted 4 October, 2012 Share Posted 4 October, 2012 My brother-in-law recently sold his late fathers house using housenetwork.co.uk for all aspects of the sale, he was very impressed with their service. His brother had previously used them for a house sale/purchase.
