Thedelldays Posted 4 October, 2012 Author Posted 4 October, 2012 3,000 tickets?! be lucky to sell 1000
Sour Mash Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Am I right in thinking that our under 21s are due to play the night before? Guess that might be postponed, although not sure if that is allowed? Hope we put a strong side out, will have a week to recover until the next game and we'd only be a couple of games from Wembley after this one.

I agree...making whole sale changes will mean we may as well give them the match...Leeds certainly will be going for it.. i would say, 2 changes..MAX.. look at what the did to everton..who made about 6 changes... we have spurs at home 2 days before...but do not play WBA until the monday after.....surely the players can handle 2 games in 3 days..we used to do it all the time last season
Saint Garrett Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Wouldn't be surprised if we made a few changes as this is the only real chance that the fringe players get to play. Guly, Hooiveld, Chaplow, Rodriguez, Seaborne, Richardson will probably all play. They SHOULD be good enough to get a result there, but I feel if we go there with a changed team, we'll lose, they're no mugs.

He could probably do with 90mins under his belt. We're just a bit light in midfield.
yorkie Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Excellent news have you seen the prices - £20 for adults. Good value for a good night in Leeds! Bet we ask for more tickets at these prices!!! See you there providing I can get a ticket out the ticket office!!!!!!!

Why would we ask for more tickets, we've already been given 3000 for a League cup game 250 miles away on a Tuesday night. Even if tickets were a fiver I doubt we'd need to get any more. doddisalegend Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Tuesday 30th Oct. 1945 ko.... You forces types and your 24hour clock.......................................... 30 Oct 1945 I was expecting a British Pathe news reel:lol:
melmacian_saint Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 I think we should put a strong side. Leeds are looking big this year and at home they are strong. I also think that apart from PL safety, a Cup final presence (and hopefully win) would really catapult our club into another dimension this season.

Even if tickets were a fiver I doubt we'd need to get any more. You forget the 8000 odd of us who went to the Sheff Weds game now have priority for this match. I'm going down the ticket office at 3am to queue up early just to make sure.
The Cat Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Although to be fair I'm wondering whether I really can be fu.cked to drive all the way to Leeds for a midweek Milk Cup (or whatever it's called now) game. Typical part time supporter that I am.
Bucks Saint Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 i am rapidly inventing an urgent and necessary meeting in Leeds or Sheffield the next day with an early start (not too early, mind)
kpturner Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Tuesday 30th Oct. 1945 ko.... Why the new thread? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?40306-Capital-One-Draw-Leeds-Away
bender Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Typical. We have Spurs on the previous Sunday and only have a 2 day rest as well as a trip up North. Leeds have Brighton on the Friday a few days later but why should it be us that only has the 2 day gap and not them.
Nexstar Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Now that it's on the Tuesday I reckon it will be 11 changes from the team that plays Spurs. Reckon Leeds will edge it, maybe in ET.

Nexstar Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 it shouldnt be...we used to play 3 games a week for most of last season....with little problem....out game after is the following monday We didn't used to do it with 1 day of rest though. Even if it was Wednesday Nigel would probably still have a second string team out.

VectisSaint Posted 4 October, 2012 Posted 4 October, 2012 Milk Cup (or whatever it's called now). COC(K)up
