Saint Charlie Posted 16 October, 2012 Posted 16 October, 2012 He's good enough for the prem He might well be, but the guy has played about 5 games in almost a year - a spell in the Champ would be ideal for him - he won't be a starter for us unless we have injuries at the moment.

Agree with this. Plus it's not like we're terrible lacking inspiration to score goals.

Pilchards Posted 29 October, 2012 Posted 29 October, 2012 So, is Lee fit or what? His comments say that he's been fit to play football for 3 weeks now but his manager is concerned that his arm is not strong enough to take throw ins. Hope to get back soon!!!
trousers Posted 29 October, 2012 Posted 29 October, 2012 his manager is concerned that his arm is not strong enough to take throw ins. Erm....can't someone else take the throw-ins if the rest of Lee's body is fit and raring to go?! Isn't that a bit like Barcelona not playing Messi because he's got a splinter in his index finger?

Hope to get back soon!!! that sounds like Strachan not playing the Tinman because his English wasn't great....just an excuse . I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Chung loaned out (or even sold) in January, don't think the manager (or his assistant) wants him here. In fact I'm not at all sure that Crosby doesn't have more say in who plays and who doesn't than he ought to have.
Saint Garrett Posted 29 October, 2012 Posted 29 October, 2012 Nigel took to him massively when he signed. You could tell that he really wanted him to do well.
Window Cleaner Posted 29 October, 2012 Posted 29 October, 2012 Nigel took to him massively when he signed. You could tell that he really wanted him to do well. Nigel always seems like that sort of bloke, he wants everyone to do well and probably believes everyone can do well, he's a sort of Professor Pangloss figure.
Give it to Ron Posted 29 October, 2012 Posted 29 October, 2012 He was limping in the car park yesterday....
Window Cleaner Posted 29 October, 2012 Posted 29 October, 2012 He was limping in the car park yesterday.... Hah another training accident then, far too many of those seemingly, we've probably kicked more of our own players out of contention for weeks in training games than the opposition will do all season, perhaps we should have cards in training games.
Turkish Posted 30 October, 2012 Posted 30 October, 2012 Well sounds like Lee was awful tonight, as he came off he was described as 'a player who has done nothing and looks like he will offfer nothing in the Premeir league' - seems like all those calling him a super player who is going to make a massive impact were a little wide of the mark.

Brilliant.
S-Clarke Posted 30 October, 2012 Posted 30 October, 2012 Possibly playing out of position tonight though, surprise surprise. But his rep. seems to have risen during injury.

S-Clarke Posted 30 October, 2012 Posted 30 October, 2012 An irritating occurrence this season for a few players. Square pegs in round holes again... It's just this insistence to continue playing this fancy new way. Which isn't working, and probably never will with our players as it stands.
