Charlie Wayman Posted 30 September, 2012 Share Posted 30 September, 2012 And this is what happens when we don't have Morgan playing
S-Clarke Posted 30 September, 2012 Share Posted 30 September, 2012 That doesn't sound good. Adkins did say it wasn't as bad as corks, but that didn't exactly fill me with hope that he'll be back soon.
the stain Posted 30 September, 2012 Share Posted 30 September, 2012 On the BBC yesterday it was saying that Cork is out for 6 weeks - so if Morgan isn't as bad as that, it could still mean a 5 week lay off.
The Kraken Posted 30 September, 2012 Share Posted 30 September, 2012 Apparently Morgan was in Oceana with Steve de Ridder watching the game yesterday.
St Lej Posted 30 September, 2012 Share Posted 30 September, 2012 I'm guessing there's no option to recall Hammond? If not Chaplow will surely need to play CM when bite and aggression is needed. Far too powderpuff in there otherwise
Window Cleaner Posted 30 September, 2012 Share Posted 30 September, 2012 On the BBC yesterday it was saying that Cork is out for 6 weeks - so if Morgan isn't as bad as that, it could still mean a 5 week lay off. If Morgan were to be out for another 5 weeks and Cork for 6 I'd think our season will have sunk to a desperation level by the time they're back cos Davis and JWP in CM is far too lightweight and slow . They don't tackle and they don't intercept, they just swan about .
VectisSaint Posted 30 September, 2012 Share Posted 30 September, 2012 Adkins did say it wasn't as bad as corks, but that didn't exactly fill me with hope that he'll be back soon. Adkins actually said "touch and go for next weekend". Reading his code I would suggest that means he will miss Fulham. only.

Smirking_Saint Posted 30 September, 2012 Share Posted 30 September, 2012 Medial injuries are not good, if rushed back then it puts pressure on the ACL, and thats not good.
trousers Posted 5 October, 2012 Share Posted 5 October, 2012 Simon Peach @SimonPeach Schneiderlin back in full training today after knee injury so could play for #SaintsFC this weekend. #FFC too soon for Cork, though.

Confirms what Adkins said after Everton, Fulham would be touch and go. I still suspect he will not start, but may be on the bench. Hope he starts, but only if he is fully recovered, we cannot afford a recurrence for our most influential player.
Saint Garrett Posted 5 October, 2012 Share Posted 5 October, 2012 Not worth risking if he's potentially going to cause more damage, however it would be great if he is fit, makes us tick, such a cracking player.

Saint-Armstrong Posted 5 October, 2012 Share Posted 5 October, 2012 Listening to Fulham fancast 'Cottage Talk'. FFC tried to sign in the past MS and AL apparently. Feel they will struggle if open. Say we are not a one man team, and if they let us play they will lose. Say they will take a draw.

Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 6 October, 2012 Share Posted 6 October, 2012 Just stick Chaplow in there. He really should've started at Everton but that's another story.
