Winchester farmers market- parking help

Evening all. Wonder if anyone could help- I'm taking my grandparents (both in their 80s) to the farmers market in Winchester tomorrow, and I don't know Winchester very well and am unsure where to park. I'm guessing it's going to be pretty busy and I was hoping that I could use the park and ride but it apparently doesn't run on Sundays.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no charge for parking in Winchester on a Sunday so you can take your pick of anywhere really. I would drive right into the centre and get as close as you can. The Brooks Shopping centre car park is probably closest.

this ... Any city centre car park, except of course middle brook street itself ,where the market is.

Isnt there a multistorey right opposite the entrance of the carpark the markets held in? There could be a charge, but tbf your wallet is going to get raped there anyway.

having lived outside Winnie i can recommend using the carpark at the swimming pool. A nice pleasant walk through the park to the market.

the parking situation in town is auful.
