Roger Posted 29 September, 2012 Posted 29 September, 2012 Everyone knows I'm his biggest fan but second half he played two le tissier passes. Put jay rod through with great bit of vision and then a sublime ball to put gaston through. If we scored those would have drawn. Lambert is getting better.
Dig Dig Posted 29 September, 2012 Posted 29 September, 2012 Yea we get it Roger, you're head over heals in love with Lambert.
Window Cleaner Posted 29 September, 2012 Posted 29 September, 2012 Yea we get it Roger, you're head over heals in love with Lambert. probably a 5 year old girl.
Born In The 80s Posted 29 September, 2012 Posted 29 September, 2012 As a footballer, he just seems to get better and better. It's shocking to think that he has spent the vast majority of his playing career in the lower branches of the football league. He looks so comfortable at this level. Without a shadow of a doubt the best 1 million SFC has ever spent. He is also a fantastic bloke.
Roger Posted 29 September, 2012 Author Posted 29 September, 2012 probably a 5 year old girl. Yes I'm strange because I appreciate someone whose done loads for saints. Go clean some windows u muppet.

ART Posted 29 September, 2012 Posted 29 September, 2012 I guess Ricky would be bobbed off to be loved by a Rabbit.
Dr Who? Posted 29 September, 2012 Posted 29 September, 2012 Lambert, does seem to get better and better. He scores goals, holds the ball up, but the most he has improved is his passing. He is becoming the complete player who has a few of the best years of his career ahead of him. Hopefully these years will be for us!
dronskisaint Posted 30 September, 2012 Posted 30 September, 2012 I agree - those two passes were inch and pace perfect...so much more than just a 'big target man'!
corky morris Posted 30 September, 2012 Posted 30 September, 2012 I aually thought he was average yesterday. Got knocked off the ball quite easily a couple of times, his first touch was not great & he was slow to the ball allowing a defender to nip in in front of him. That said nobody stood out yesterday.

Prepare to face the wrath of Roger.
Wilko Posted 30 September, 2012 Posted 30 September, 2012 Held the ball up well. Didn't waste possession. Played a few quality passes. Hit the target with his only chance. I thought he had another fine game.
ottery st mary Posted 30 September, 2012 Posted 30 September, 2012 Miles ahead of Grant Holt in so many areas... Mr Lambert is also improving in many ways with his all round game... A top class footballer with much more to come.. COYS;)

Did you see the two passes he played second half?
corky morris Posted 30 September, 2012 Posted 30 September, 2012 Yes I did. I also saw him pass the ball out for a goal kick when he had no one round him. He is a real quality asset to have & a constant threat, but everyone can have an average game. On a number of occasions the centre half nipped in front of him. In the 2nd half they broke at pace from that mistake & almost scored. Did you see that?
ottery st mary Posted 30 September, 2012 Posted 30 September, 2012 Agree with some of the above..... All the team need to improve on meeting the ball and not waiting for it to arrive... First to the ball and speedier in mind and thought for the first 3-5 yards to close down...TOO TENTATIVE.. Too many times we left space and backed off far too much..

Thanks for making me feel out of the loop.

Out of interest, what do you need to do to qualify as "biggest fan"?
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 1 October, 2012 Posted 1 October, 2012 Out of interest, what do you need to do to qualify as "biggest fan"? It involves Katy Bates, a isolated house and the use of a mallet if I remember correctly.
