Surely he was arrested on suspicion of 'abducting a minor'? You cant 'kidnap' anyone who goes with you willingly.

 

You're probably right, but a minor is not legally able to decide to go willingly.

Course, she needs to admit to the police that a sexual relationship took place. Some local officer's have said that she's unlikely to admit to it in view of the consequences.
