who else is going to have watch this on mute...thanks to the overly annoying yank golf fans...

You think THEY are annoying?

ROFL... Wait until you get amongst a crowd of Asian mixed with French watching a tournament.

But yeah we'll be watching, we normally get the European Tour's own Golf Channel here with Dougie Donnelly, Mark Warren & Dear old Renton (always says hello) Laidlaw. Guess you'll have dear old Peter Alliss & Sir Nick the really really bad Captain.

Looking forward to it will be stocking up on tinnies tomorrow in readiness.

going to be mighty close

It will come down to bottle as it always does.

Not totally sure that Lawrie & Colsaerts have it in their systems (watched Lawrie blow up at a snapper last November & lose the Dubai World Championship with 3 holes left to play, not sure his temper will cope with the Yank Crowds.

Peter Hanson is always "reliable" but does the Swede have that inner Poulter fighting spirit?

It will probably come down to which rookies cope best Keegan Bradley/Jason Duffner Paul/Nicolas

And in no small measure it will depend which Tiger turns up? - the machine or the wobbly driver. Tiger seems to have one bad round per tournament at the moment (although he is back on track). IF his bad day is on morning one it could affect the whole Team US/Crowd/Media.

Gonna be a weekend of 3am or later nights for us glued to the box, waiting for "That Ryder Cup Moment"

Tough Call for later I want to watch all 10 hours of coverage today (hey Friday is our Sunday)

But the gang want to go and watch the Proclaimers. Apparently the Paddies have invented a new "National Holiday" called Arthur's Day and (being Irish) the local Pub have invited Scotland's finest.

Grumble moan groan. Anyone know any streaming video links for Android?

USA! USA! USA!

Whether it's golf, synchronised swimming or f*cking tittlywinks that's all they have.

If I was American I'd be embarrassed TBH.

I cannot stand their "sports" fans...

yesterday, after a group had finished on the green, the camera very slowly panned round..and some fat obese yank, red in the face was just shouting (at the top of his voice as you could see him strain) WOOAAAH, YEAH, WOOOOOOOOAH YEEEEEEEEEEEAH...over and over in a high pitch tone..if you can imagine..

seriously, what is it about yank sports fans....more so GOLF fans...just disgustingly annoying

I mean REALLY. How many putts/chips lipped out yesterday for Coelsarts?

How bad is Westwood's putting?

McIlroy just looks mentally drained (not surprising after the way he finished the US season)

One Song, You've only got one song - ROFL, that confused the hell out of the Yank fans.

Mashed Potato guy - clear example care in the community doesn't work.

Overall? The fans at K Club & Celtic Manor were equally boisterous, but perhaps (as Sam Torrance said on Golf Channel coverage, less likely to LOUDLY cheer a bad shot by the opposition.

Pretty much game over, Kaymer, Westwood are so off form. Rory only patches of brilliance.

BUT, at the end of the day, More American players have played blinders than Europeans have, forget the fans, they (USA) deserve this lead.

The course has been specifically set up for the long bombers. Missing fairways doesn't really matter on that Mickey Mouse set up.

It's really exciting, but it's not proper golf.

Teams have won from a 10-6 deficit before. But I can't see it today. Stranger things have happened though. Mayber Poulter yesterday is the inspiration the team needs. He was unbelievable.
