shirleysfc Posted 26 September, 2012 Posted 26 September, 2012 There's been talk of pubs showing every match this season. The Alex is one I've heard of, where are the others? Any in Shirley or near the general hospital?
This Charming Man Posted 26 September, 2012 Posted 26 September, 2012 Not near Shirley but I believe The Royal Oak has been showing them.
Golden Balls Posted 26 September, 2012 Posted 26 September, 2012 Royal Oak showed the Arsenal and Villa game and will be showing the Everton game so I guess they'll have every game.
lordswoodsaints Posted 26 September, 2012 Posted 26 September, 2012 The saints pub showed the arsenal game and so did oceana
Norm Posted 26 September, 2012 Posted 26 September, 2012 where are they getting the feed from? They run a long cable from pub in Portsmouth. hth
JPTCount Posted 26 September, 2012 Posted 26 September, 2012 They run a long cable from pub in Portsmouth. hth i thought she won the court case to show an EU satellite feed coz she was paying for it, but sky and the FA still control the copyright on things like the logo and the anthem in this country....
shirleysfc Posted 26 September, 2012 Author Posted 26 September, 2012 From the internet maybe? That's how we watched the JPT final in a bar in Thailand.
JRM Posted 28 September, 2012 Posted 28 September, 2012 Royal Oak showed the Arsenal and Villa game and will be showing the Everton game so I guess they'll have every game. Thanks for this, are they definitely showing the game tomorrow ? I'll pop down there if they are.
egg Posted 28 September, 2012 Posted 28 September, 2012 The Horns are showing the Everton game. Will find out if they will be showing others.
Mustapha Fag Posted 28 September, 2012 Posted 28 September, 2012 kings arms, church street every game, no commentary as its from foreign sattelite plus free food
ant Posted 28 September, 2012 Posted 28 September, 2012 Oceana was beyond terrible for the Arsenal game. Despite advertising beforehand that they'd have every game in HD, we missed the first half an hour because they hadn't bothered to find out beforehand which channel it would be on. Eventually they got a dodgy stream going (surely a bit risky?) Even then the bar was completely under-staffed. I left when their feed got stuck on 70 mins - was actually more satisfying watching the rest on a laptop at home, with the bonus that I missed Gervinho's second goal. So yeah, avoid.
Travelling Saint Posted 28 September, 2012 Posted 28 September, 2012 If you don't want to go to the pub and prefer to watch at home. http://www.wiziwig.tv/broadcast.php?matchid=168566&part=sports

Golden Balls Posted 28 September, 2012 Posted 28 September, 2012 Thanks for this, are they definitely showing the game tomorrow ? I'll pop down there if they are. Yeah spoke to the landlord yesterday. Definitely showing it. The Arsenal game there were no problems. It's not streamed, it's a satellite so no freezing. Was quite busy last time.
Justin C Posted 29 September, 2012 Posted 29 September, 2012 Are there ant sites that streams for the iPad? Thanks
Lambert1979 Posted 29 September, 2012 Posted 29 September, 2012 Spoke to royal oak this morning - they said 99% sure it's on as all saints games have been shown n this satellite channel so far...
