Pretty sure it has, I'll ask the wife tomorrow. The car has been maintained over the years by her ex husband who is a professionally trained VW technician, it was in his interest to "over maintain" it as it was transporting his 2 boys around.

Just got confirmation from the mechanic that yes the cam belt has been changed. I can also provide any buyer with contact details for this guy as he can save you quite a few bob on further servicing work?

Id buy it but can't be arsed with selling our other one.

I've heard (seriously) that "webuyanycar" can offer pretty good prices and take all the hassle out of it. Maybe worth a try?

Small independent dealer has driven it and offered me £2300 cash, says he has 2 buyers for it already. Problem is I dont have a replacement yet as I didn't like his Mini (someone had ruined the interior with Ciggies).

Snap his hand off.

He's having it as soon as I find another. He's prepared to pay this because it looks & drives like its 3 years old, the spec is excellent and the mileage is so low for age. Parkers afterall is just a guide, the car marketplace is the only valuation system that is accurate?

Yes, and you're presumably opting to sell it to him for £2300 rather than the queue of people at your front door offering the same amount of money because he's a great bloke right?

As I said, snap his hand off.

Price seems alright to me when you at similar for sale on autotrader.

Have they started publishing sold prices on Autotrader? I must have missed that.
