If played in his right position ;)

always felt sorry for him on the left, was kind of being hung out to dry.

NOt really, a couple of games, to see if it would work, think always intended to play through the centre, but right now we cant drop Lambo ... nice situation to be in and JRod is young and his time will come.

I'm watching it and listening to Solent, I haven't seen Everton touch the ball yet, but then Magay-Gay is playing, so it's hardly their first team.

I agree. They are nowhere near getting into the game yet. Leeds dominating. Leeds look very organised, well drilled and everything else you'd expect from a Neil Warnock side. Everton on the other hand are the complete opposite, all over the place, no joke.

For sure. He can't be played on the wing, but at the same time you can't drop Lambert on his form. He may very well have to play apprentice for the next couple of seasons until Lambert inevitably fades with age.

You need to be able to abuse a fellow poster and claim your did so out if frustration and your love of the team

So there I was carefully composing a repost, which would have abused you in a "love of the team" sort of way, and we scored. Now we're two pages later.....

Still, I'm glad my wager this evening wasn't a toss up between a Saints home win and a Bradford home win, otherwise I would be looking to lose a wedge........

d'oh

Well, I'm grateful for the updates. Current location: the Standing Orders. Got to the ticket office at 7:20, figured that ought to do it as there were only a reported 5k sold, gave up at kick off as it was looking like half time would be the most optimistic estimate for getting a ticket. wtf is wrong with our walk-up ticketing??

Sorry bud. I know hindsight and all that but I would have arrived so as to be inside by 7.15, just to be sure of a quick pint first. 25 mins for a ticket as well is, er, tight

No hindsight about it mate, no choice, I went straight from work. Oddly, the only walkup I did last season was west ham, got to the ticket queues at 7:30 and was inside and seated as they kicked off. Dont understand the delays tonight.

My first SMS game was against Bristol Rovers in League One, we lost 3-2. I hadn't pre-purchased a ticket, despite having an online account, as I figured we weren't going to sell out. I arrived at the ticket office at 19:15 and didn't get in to the ground until nearly 20:00. Mental turn up before the game. Now I pre-buy no matter what the game, even if I pick up from the Ticket Office.

Mind you I live in Windsor, it's a more comfortable journey when I know I have my ticket safe and sound!

er.. numbers?

I dont want to labour this, but last seasons west ham game was pandemonium at the ticket office. They got the punters in though. Tonight was relatively quiet, but I made 5 yards in 25 minutes from shorter queues and half the numbers. I saw at least 50 punters give up and leave around the same time as me.
