Took all of 30 seconds to buy my two.

Site seems to be working much better now. Never been to Upton Park so that's another one chalked off the list. What's the best tube station to get off at or do try close it ala Holloway Rd for Arsenal (still can't fathom why they do that)?

I'm being entertained by a contractor in the directors box. £2500 per season ticket for a seat only, you don't even get a pint with it......now that's a rip off watching that dross every other week, glad I'm not paying!

I assume I should start any saints songs whilst in there ;)

I wouldn't recommend it. I was a guest of a contractor at last year's match with seats right near the director's box. Going down the stairs for a drink at half time two blokes in suits had to be separated before it came to blows. They were both West Ham so it might be wise to keep a lid on it.

Back in February we went via East Ham just up the road, couple of pubs on the way to the ground that were away "friendly" and got a seat on the district line back into the good parts of London. Upton Park tube station had the same problem Arsenal station did of just monster queues after the game.

Holloway road shuts on match day because it's only got 3 lifts down to the track along with a really tight set of stairs to get down. One person slips and there's a crush getting onto the tube that breaks the Underground for the afternoon. Just safer for everyone (and simpler for emergency services/rest of London) if everyone takes it slowly through Arsenal station.

Cheers, will try that then. Understand about Holloway Rd, I use it nearly every week as have two customers there. Thought they could have shut off the stairs and organised something for the lifts but thinking about it, was probably better closing it and just using Arsenal. Was a nightmare getting out of there though.

This game will definitely make it to just season ticket sales, and also probably general sale (if we get the extra allocation to 3000)

a lot of people won't pay £39 for a game like this. rip off.

having said that a kid for a quid is a good deal so that might encourage more families.

The Ticket Office is however, currently liaising with the Hammers to try and obtain additional tickets for away supporters

Am I missing something?

We are entitled to 3000 minimum. Why all this nonsense. Just get the tickets! Are they the same sort of person (on an ITV quiz show) who, after a long pregnant pause, doesn't tell us the answer until after the adverts!

Likely because the tickets will not on be on a sale or return basis (i.e. if the club don't sell 3,000 tickets they have to pay for the shortfall). This always used to be the case, and was often why in the PL last time we didn't take the full allocation. Personally I don't think there would be any problem selling 3,000 tickets for a London game, but the club perhaps thought otherwise.

Got mine through the post yesterday, but just as my Everton tickets...the envelope was open, but none of the tickets had gone missing. Can they not even seal an envelope ?!

Also not sure whether they will have gone and sold the seats which we would be using....only 2000 left. http://www.whufc.com/articles/20121001/less-than-2000-left-for-southampton_2236884_2925737

Saints have been given a further allocation tickets for the trip to West Ham United on Saturday 20th October.

Our initial batch of 1,833 tickets for the visit to Upton Park sold out in under a week, prompting us to request extra seats yesterday.

More tickets are now on their way from east London and will go on sale to Saints fans later this week.

Supporters who bought a ticket for at least one of our three previous Barclays Premier League away games at Manchester City, Arsenal and Everton will be able to purchase a West Ham ticket from 9am on Thursday 4th October.

Any remaining tickets will then go on general sale from 9am on Friday 5th October.

Tickets can be purchased online or directly from the St Mary's Box Office and are priced as follows:

£39 per Adult

£21 per Over-65

£1 per Under-16

Please note that for any concessionary ticket purchased, proof of age will be required on entry into the stadium.

Tickets are limited to one per applicable supporter, and a maximum of four tickets per transaction when purchasing on behalf of other applicable supporters.

There will be a total of 15 Loyalty points awarded to supporters purchasing tickets for this fixture, which may be used to gain ticket priority on future ticket sales.

The customer number of each attending supporter must be given at the point of sale in order for loyalty points to be awarded. Points cannot be awarded to individual customer numbers retrospectively.

I was looking at the envelope mine came in, they seem to have started to use some slightly more shoddy self seal ones so mine was stick but it came apart too easily (and looked like it would have fallen open in the post).

but as with the everton tickets they were stuck in the envelope with a bit of sticky tape!! very tacky - but effective!

If anyone who has a ST who isn't going to this wouldn't mind someone using their number please PM me as for some reason you cannot purchase tickets from a junior customer number, so we only managed to get tickets for 3 out of our group of 4. Would be much appreciated.

100% sold out, just rang up, apparently no more going on sale too.
Fair play, wasn't expecting that. So how many tickets were in the extra allocation that went on sale yesterday morning? On the basis the original allocation was 1.8k and the full allocation at West Ham is circa 3k, we sold 1.2k in a day?

did they ever confirm how many more tickets we got and what the final allocation was? thought it was a bit strange when they said they were asking for more, but didn't say how many.
That's what I was thinking. We really sold 1.2k of tickets in a day? But then why not take the full 3k if we've sold this many already? Unless pre-agreed with West Ham and they've started selling them to home fans?

For F*cks sake. Why didn't they announce on the website the second batch was on sale? I've been checking the site the last 3 days waiting. C*nts.

If anyone has a spare drop me a message..

They did announce it on website on Tuesday, 2 days before extra tickets went on sale
