Convenient timing with his FA hearing starting tomorrow

Purely in footballing terms, England will miss him. The contrasting defensive performances in two games against Ukraine in the last few months demonstrates what a good centre-back he is.

So, John Terry retires from international football, stating that the behaviour of the FA is making his position untenable. Nothing to do with your own behaviour first then John? Nothing at all?

The blokes a **** but I can't knock his ability, one of the best CB's to wear an England shirt. In terms of quality he is going to be a massive loss to England.

Having been cleared in a court, the FA charge though does seem like a bit of needless pantomime.

He was cleared for aggravated racism or something.... Basically saying racist remarks maliciously....So he did say racist remarks, just not in an aggressive way... Guess the FA can and seemingly (and rightly) will do him for that..

How long did suarez get..? 12 game ban or something?

I see that ex-Saint Stuart Ripley is one of the four man independent panel `judging` the Terry case.

Seems that when he retired from playing, he qualified as a Solicitor.

Really. Nowhere near as good as Terry Butcher, Mark Wright, Dave Watson, Bobby Moore or Tony Adams.

Decent player, poor attitude, and despite his claims of patriotism, I can't forgive him for sitting out injured when we lost to Croatia and failed to qualify for the Euros (wally with the brolly night), yet turned out 3 days later for Chelsea. I think as a bloke he's a c*nt.
