Trader Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 2-1 up - 5 mins left and lost 3-2. Oh dear.
Smirking_Saint Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 Fair play to Hart for the post march interview though
Badger Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 Only blemish on that outcome was that the tart Ronaldo scored the winner. Anyway, with Real still in the chase we can also rile out Jose coming to St Mary's too soon !
Colinjb Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 Wow, Mancini "I can't critcise the team.... not Joe Hart....."

I still think he is better than Messi too. 151 goals in 151 games
Dark Munster Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 I'd love it if Saints lost 3-2 to Real Madrid in the Champions' League.

Mowgli Posted 19 September, 2012 Posted 19 September, 2012 So are Man City fans now panicking about their defence, the need for a new keeper, lack of investment and starting to talk about replacement managers?
fanimal Posted 19 September, 2012 Posted 19 September, 2012 Kompany's duck was the eqiuvalent of Danny Fox's cushioned headed lay back for Nasri.
del boy Posted 19 September, 2012 Posted 19 September, 2012 City to swoop for Benitez according to sources in Manchester the club are thought to be........ (continue here with random bullsh1t generator)

Hart admitted in his post-match TV interview: "You can't go 2-1 up with five minutes to go and lose the game. Who else can we blame? We can only blame ourselves. "We dug deep, got a lead twice and we lost it, so we can only blame ourselves. "It's hard to come off the field after losing 3-2 and be positive. I'm really sorry. "We're not a team that should come here and pat ourselves on the back for doing well. We're a team that gets results."

DJ_TOAST Posted 19 September, 2012 Posted 19 September, 2012 what does this have to so with Saints. There are more pressing matters of concern at the moment then what Man City are upto, like what shall I have for lunch.

I even dispute whether he is better than Messi, that is a matter of opinion and Messi's figures stack up well in comparison, because he has played more matches. There are several factors to consider when one makes the statement that Ronaldo is the best technically gifted player ever. That opinion is likely to change depending on how old the person making it is. Those who have been privileged to have seen other past masters like Eusebio, Pele, Charlton, Puskas, Cruyff, Best, Platini, several Brazilians, etc., might well consider several of them to have been better players. Also it must be acknowledged that the footballs have changed from the heavy leather ones of past eras, the quality of the pitches has generally improved, the strength of tackling allowed has been diminished greatly and it must also be said that players like Ronaldo and Messi shine because of the service they receive from top quality team mates.

Duly noted Rumpole. Now bore off. It's his opinion and he's perfectly entitled to it. Personally I think Messi is the better player but can only really be considered the best of all time of he wins a World Cup as Maradona managed. Once again...just an opinion.
Scudamore Posted 19 September, 2012 Posted 19 September, 2012 Oh and I'm pretty sure Man City have lost a game 3-2 after being 2-1 up before...
