Do we think Harry will be manager by Xmas

Good manager or not (and I'm far from convinced), he came here and let us slip out the league with a whimper, showing zero passion and admitting his heart wasn't in it. Dozens of club legends gave so much to keep the club up there, and he casually played a huge part in undoing it and showed absolutely no guilt or guilt. In fact he's never been relegated has he, according to Harry.

Would be the complete opposite of what I'd expect from Cortese if he was looking for a new manager, and not one I'd be supporting one bit.

It wasn't just him though was it. Appointing then sacking Sturrock, appointing then sacking Wigley, injuries to key players, lack of investment in quality players, an ageing team and no bottle all played a major part.

After years of struggling and the WGS successes moving us up, I'm afraid 'Arry's lack of interest has only just been rectified , after the wilderness he introduced us all to.

Obviously waiting for the right time to bring him in.

Of course - what a tactical magician he is.

I'm not disputing that C*ntflaps can build a team - it's just that he needs a gazillion quid to do it.

And I'm sure that most managers could given the opportunity.

(Most managers do not include, of course, King Kenny)

Nope.

I think NC and our backers are looking long term. We are purchasing in good qaulity young players who lack experience at the moment but will come good.

I think that we are giving this season a good go, but we will not throw money away for short term gains.

Also, I think it is too ealry to judge our team against the tams we have played so far.

Just out of interest, who here would refuse to go to St Mary's if Redknapp was appointed? I could not go out of principle. It's not the fact he took us down, but as adrainsfc has posted earlier in the thread, it was the manner it happened and the way he conducted himself whilst Saints manager. Oh, and of course the leaving us to return to the Skates bit too.

Redknapp wouldnt fit at te club and it wont happen....

He's too cosy with the media, his rent a quotes wouldnt be tolerated, he is tatically poor and has only ever succeded when he's had a certain amount of flair players who can be given freedom to roam, otherwise he has no plan B. He is also very much old school and wouldnt embrace the sports science and modern day techniques employed at most top clubs in Europe which saints now adopt.

Add to the fact that he's a lying two faced **** I'd say there is little or no chance of this happening.

Er No ! That is the attitude that led to our woes in 2004 !

If Bagpuss ever came back to St Marys, then i would give back my ST and never set foot in our stadium again until hes gone.

Yep. I would not set foot in the ground until he left.

Harry & Adkins are chalk and cheese. Can you imagine Harry being manager after the Arsenal game?

I can remember Harry's quotes from after we got trounced by Spurs where he blamed the players and said "some of those out there won't ever play for this club again"

Darren Kenton? Wonder what happened to him.

All a bit boring really. We have only just recovered from what that man did to us last time. Yes, there were other things that contributed to relegation, but he had the chance to show us what he could do. Could easily have kept us up that year. But oh no, it was "They aren't good enough" "They" this and "They" that. From day 1. Shocking excuse for a human being. This has all been debated a million times. Personally, I would not go to watch the team if he was back as manager. Really can't see that ever being the case - he stands for everything we are trying not to be.
