theyin Posted 15 September, 2012 Posted 15 September, 2012 Just now on MOTD Left back - could have been handy
John Boy Saint Posted 15 September, 2012 Posted 15 September, 2012 By the time we had ironed out a deal Fox would have still started today, as he wouldn't have trained long enough with the team
Badger Posted 15 September, 2012 Posted 15 September, 2012 Think the phrase used by the PSV fan on here was that "we had dodged a bullet" by not signing him.
Saints Warrior Posted 15 September, 2012 Posted 15 September, 2012 Sounds like ££££ big wages was part of decision
Webby Posted 15 September, 2012 Posted 15 September, 2012 ours scored today too No, we don't have a left back. I've put him in room 101.
Badger Posted 15 September, 2012 Posted 15 September, 2012 Sounds like ££££ big wages was part of decision I think ££££ going somewhere, or to someone, was part of the decision , even if it did not end up in his own pocket.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 16 September, 2012 Posted 16 September, 2012 My Mum and Aunt could put better tackles in that the 2 Wigan defenders and then the Keeper did a Kelvin. It's a bit easier playing for Man Utd home to Wigan than playing for saints. let's see what he's like against the top players.
Bearsy Posted 17 September, 2012 Posted 17 September, 2012 Read this snippit on football365 Alexander Buttner His goal and assist for Javier Hernandez hid the seven turnovers he conceded because of a poor first touch - the most by any player in a single game this season.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 17 September, 2012 Posted 17 September, 2012 The sun (it was on the table in the pub at lunch) gave him 9/10.
Bearsy Posted 17 September, 2012 Posted 17 September, 2012 I heard the Ballon d'Or people had scouts at Old Trafford specifically to watch Buttners
Bearsy Posted 17 September, 2012 Posted 17 September, 2012 I overhead Pele talking in KFC, and he was saying if he gets reincarnated he wants to come back as Alexander Büttner
Lighthouse Posted 17 September, 2012 Posted 17 September, 2012 The sun (it was on the table in the pub at lunch) gave him 9/10. TBF the Sun is normally written at a table in the pub at lunch.
influx Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 The sun (it was on the table in the pub at lunch) gave him 9/10. 'ark at him!! Mr "I Don't buy the Sun Im far better that"
Tokyo-Saint Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 I am but to be fair that doesn't really raise the bar too highly.
influx Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 getting mugged off by a sun reader. Yes, coz what paper you read defines you as a person. I don't read papers at all, but I have many friends who read the Sun, I also have some who read the express and probably various other rags. The fact is I can tell alot more about you through that one comment than I would if I knew what paper you read.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 Such a shame you ran out of posts. I was really looking forward to the armchair physicist and what he can tell from the fact that I don't buy the sun. What could it be? Could it be that I don't like Murdoch? I am a scouser and don't buy it on principle? I just prefer a different paper? I don't read papers at all? I am a socialist and don't like it's tory slant? I am a disgruntled tory and won't forgive them for supporting Blair? Maybe I just really like to see tits with my news and prefer the sport. Or could it be that it is just a bit of a sh!t paper full of celeb nonsense and made up stories? Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with Buttner and them giving him a 9/10.
VectisSaint Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 I overhead Pele talking in KFC, and he was saying if he gets reincarnated he wants to come back as Alexander Büttner Which Pele? Edson Arantes do Noscimento or the real one?
Ivan Oar Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 I reckon Buttner may score a few this season but I am pretty sure he will give away a few pens and get a few red cards.........
Lighthouse Posted 18 September, 2012 Posted 18 September, 2012 Wasn't Craig Mackail-Smith our 'missed opportunity' last summer?
