The9 Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 Without the advert... which is on Buy/Sell if you want to see it. So, what is your favourite Saints shirt, I still care...? I've settled on the Rank Xerox home - it IS striped, dammit !
Badger Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 The Keegan era (Air Florida/Rank Xerox etc). The sash however is a memorable kit, and runner up. Will accept conventional stripes.
Colinjb Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 Keegan Era Home and Away The Sash 2001/02 Away http://www.oldfootballshirts.com/img/shirts/40/southampton-away-football-shirt-2001-2002-s_14978_1.jpg 2008/09 Away And..... The Yellow/Navy number from 09/10. Really liked it for some reason.

Colinjb Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 (edited) This is DEFINTELY striped : The key thing is the equal parts red and white. with black shorts and white/red socks. That is the very definition of a Southampton kit. Edited 14 September, 2012 by Colinjb
Colinjb Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 Away 2006 Yellow 'unsold' Flybe kit Except on Ebay.
The9 Posted 14 September, 2012 Author Posted 14 September, 2012 I've distinguished between the Patrick shirts by picking the Rank Xerox because it's got the nicer typeface, btw. I actually prefer it to the unsponsored shirt because that looks like it's missing a stripe.
The9 Posted 14 September, 2012 Author Posted 14 September, 2012 Except on Ebay. Yeah, I bid on one of those last week, ceiling was £25 so I stopped, it went for £25. WITHOUT the sponsor too, so even more rare, because it did have the Saints Apparel logo instead of the crappy 1976 embroidery. I'm still annoyed that a mate picked one up from the concourse sale for a quid.
The Majestic Channon Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 the yellow and blue of 76 for me

Maybe I could have picked up one of last seasons home shirts in large at one..... if anyone knows of any..... #hint hint hint.

I do have two of them, won't be selling though, I'm only selling off duplicate shirts even now. Shame you weren't after a Theo nosebreaker shirt...
The9 Posted 14 September, 2012 Author Posted 14 September, 2012 This one for me. That one or it's following season red socked cousin ?
Colinjb Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 I do have two of them, won't be selling though, I'm only selling off duplicate shirts even now. Shame you weren't after a Theo nosebreaker shirt... Then surely that is a duplicate.
krissyboy31 Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 That one or it's following season red socked cousin ? I'm probably in the minority but I prefer us in white socks.
The9 Posted 14 September, 2012 Author Posted 14 September, 2012 Then surely that is a duplicate. Well yeah, but the missus would kick up. One long sleeved and one short as well.
The9 Posted 14 September, 2012 Author Posted 14 September, 2012 I'm probably in the minority but I prefer us in white socks. I think I do too, though the all red with one white hoop is pretty, erm, badass.
