saints_is_the_south Posted 13 September, 2012 Share Posted 13 September, 2012 Finally being given a clean/repainting. Crane outside the Northam end when I went down this afternoon doing the work, looking much better on the outside of the stadium now, the structures are actually white again as opposed to a horrible dirty green mould colour! About time imo as the stadium was starting to look a bit tired and grubby on the exterior!
Saint Garrett Posted 13 September, 2012 Share Posted 13 September, 2012 About time this happened. Have been saying it should have been done all last season. Surprised it was done over the close season when they were making the other improvements to it.

Whitey Grandad Posted 13 September, 2012 Share Posted 13 September, 2012 The cherry picker was there on Tuesday when I picked up my Sheffield Wednesday ticket. I assumed it was giving the old girl a hose down.
Griffo Posted 13 September, 2012 Share Posted 13 September, 2012 It was there last Friday as well when I went to the ground.

There's a drip right above my seat, it gives my kids no end of amusement to see their old man getting wet.
old_southy Posted 13 September, 2012 Share Posted 13 September, 2012 Good. I shall now clean my house because if it's good enough for St Mary's it is good enough for me.
Ken Tone Posted 13 September, 2012 Share Posted 13 September, 2012 This. There's a drip right above my seat, it gives my kids no end of amusement to see their old man getting wet. There's a leak near us in the kingsland too. Sounds like it is a bit of a problem in several places then.

sotonjoe Posted 13 September, 2012 Share Posted 13 September, 2012 Here, here ... we might be rooted to the bottom of the table, but we can take pride in the fact that away fans will look up and admire our freshly scrubbed, exposed metalwork. Now where's that club radio station?
Kingsland Red Posted 13 September, 2012 Share Posted 13 September, 2012 Has any one overhauled our catering lately, we were told it was at its best when we were relegated from this league?

JustMike Posted 14 September, 2012 Share Posted 14 September, 2012 Has any one overhauled our catering lately, we were told it was at its best when we were relegated from this league? Last week NC asked the catering guys to provide one of everything that is sold on matchdays (food) and lay it out on a table, he wasn't happy with any of it, and that was just on appearance! I would expect changes very soon.
