benc16 Posted 12 September, 2012 Posted 12 September, 2012 Sorry to clog up board space, but this worked in the Championship so I was just wondering if anybody, for whatever reason, has 2 Arsenal tickets going spare? willing to pay above face value if need be. Please DM me or just reply on here if so! Thanks.
jonesyboyo Posted 12 September, 2012 Posted 12 September, 2012 I too am looking for two tickets. jonesysadventure@yahoo.co.uk (I was offered 2 tickets in the home end today from an Arse season ticket holder, 50 notes each! Regardless of price just don't think I can bare to do it)
Pilchards Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 A long shot from me, want a adult & a junior ticket as I can make it now. Cheers
old_southy Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 Chance would be a fine thing! I'm in the home end at £60 notes lighter!
ant Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 Gah, I'm sure it won't happen but if 2 adult tickets filter their way down I would gladly buy them. Apparently being a season ticket holder isn't enough these days - would've been at Man City if I could. Gutted to be missing both of our first 2 away games.
Dan Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 For anyone that turns up Im positive you will get one for face value at the game outside the away end. At games like Leyton Orient and Plymouth there were loads knocking about, and they were goldust in the weeks leading up to the match.
shirleysfc Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 Apparently being a season ticket holder isn't enough these days Such a crap arguement! We only had an allocation of 2900, just being a season ticket holder was never going to be enough!

Saint_Randell Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 Apparently being a season ticket holder isn't enough these days. So we were going to take 24,000 season ticket holders to Arsenal were we?

Therefore those that did go deserve a ticket ahead of yourself.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 What about friends of season ticket holders? Why don't they get first dibs any more?

Mowgli Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 Such a crap arguement! We only had an allocation of 2900, just being a season ticket holder was never going to be enough! No - you have to get up early as well ;~)
Mowgli Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 What about friends of season ticket holders? Why don't they get first dibs any more? That made me smile (I nearly bit)

At games like Leyton Orient and Plymouth there were loads knocking about, and they were goldust in the weeks leading up to the match. Thats what i'm doing out of necessity. Got into Arsenal with Pavsaint oooh ages back without a ticket for a midweek match (think it was wgs last game it was that long ago) doing exactly that. And got four tickets for Palace away last year same way. Its probably changed and different at Emirates but gonna try anyway. Helps if you wear a suit and have a bit of a cockney accent ( had to tell Pav to shut up basically):-).

Plymouth away when we all but guaranteed promotion, a mate of a mate bought 2x tickets for a tenner outside. Brighton away last season a mate got given 2x tickets by some bird who got bored of trying to even give them away. Tickets for both those games were like gold dust.
jonesyboyo Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 Charging £50 is bad enough, but insisting you take your clothes off as well is a bit much!! oops (I'll get my c**k out and run round the ground if you can get me two tickets in the away end.)

Remember why I didn't bother re-subscribing now. I'm well aware of the logic thanks. My point was that in the last couple of years it's been easy enough to get tickets in the ST holder window - and yes, we sold a lot more season tickets than away allocations could accomodate back then too. The joys of being a fan of a PL club, eh? Well you weren't. Therefore those that did go deserve a ticket ahead of yourself. Wasn't just those that attended Man City that got a ticket though, was it? You either had to be very lucky with the online system or queue from 7am. Sadly I had to be at work. Not boo hoo-ing about it, I only explained why I didn't have a ticket! At least Everton away is doable, no sign of any section selling out yet.
sambosa75 Posted 13 September, 2012 Posted 13 September, 2012 I might have 2 spare tickets available. They are Club Arsenal tickets so in with the Arsenal fans but the hardcore prawn sandwich brigade so you won't hear a peep out of them. I won't find out for sure until tomorrow by its 90% likely. If anyone wants them let me know and I'll get in touch once its confirmed.

This Charming Man Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 I may have a spare but if you think any of you drips are having it, you're having a laugh.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 I may have a spare but if you think any of you drips are having it, you're having a laugh. oh go on, please please.
This Charming Man Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 oh go on, please please. You can have it but you must first sing a full version of 'The Sash My Father Wore' outside the Emirates.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 You can have it but you must first sing a full version of 'The Sash My Father Wore' outside the Emirates. No problem. My dad was an orange man (not the tango type), so I would not be inaccurate. You driving home afterwards?

Joe Kirkup Posted 14 September, 2012 Posted 14 September, 2012 (edited) Still hopeful of just the one. Anyone?? Can swap for a CB40 final if anyone fancies that instead? Edited 14 September, 2012 by Joe Kirkup
