Best ever for me. have only seen the (admittedly fantastic) highlights of Pele, but think he was a fantastic player in a brilliant team. Once England self destructed, that Brazil team in 70 were going to win the World Cup regardless of Pele or not. Maradona 'single handedly' won the 86 tournament for Argentina, and then dragged them to the 90 final. Plus he tested himself in South America and Europe, and succeeded.

 

I wonder in 10 years time whether we will be comparing Ronaldo or Messi to either of them? I think it is possible.
