Car Key replacement

Probably been discussed on here before but my wife has mislaid a key to her Pug 308.

 

Fortunately we have a spare but need to replace the original.

 

Any suggestions on the most cost effective approach.

 

Presume main dealer will charge + £150

 

Would a Key shop be able to do something cheaper if we took in the spare key?

 

Presume there will be an issue with the transponder

County Locksmiths in Shirley will do it for you. Price varies on make, but shouldn't be more than half what you've been quoted.

The locksmith in Fair Oak is pretty good, cost about £70 for a non-remote but chipped key.
