Dr Who? Posted 31 January, 2013 Author Posted 31 January, 2013 Looked like Ryan choked a bit to me but then I only saw the second half. Same nearly happened to the Falcons against the Seahawks. Yes I think the pressure got to them on both occasions. Bad time management against the Seahawks, and then I think just pressure of the getting to the Super Bowl. But they were full of confidence early on.
Dr Who? Posted 31 January, 2013 Author Posted 31 January, 2013 I have Monday booked off work. Saturday Wigan with my daughter and Sunday night/Monday morning the 49ers in the Super Bowl. Bring on the weekend!!!!
Dr Who? Posted 31 January, 2013 Author Posted 31 January, 2013 American Football sucks. You mean rules right!
Restark19 Posted 4 February, 2013 Posted 4 February, 2013 Can't claim to know much about NFL having only watched a couple of games (all superbowls as well) and played madden but i know that that was an incredible game. Flacco played a blinder. That 109 yard return was mental as well. Can't wait for the new season to start now and will follow it closely. Come on Steelers!
Window Cleaner Posted 4 February, 2013 Posted 4 February, 2013 what a terrible sport.... season is too short, not enough games for the majority of teams. 20 out of 32 teams are done after 17 weeks.
Dr Who? Posted 4 February, 2013 Author Posted 4 February, 2013 Written in the script for Lewis! Season is far to short. Looking to get English teams in over the next few years..... Should be a laugh. London monarchs were terrible!

Cascadia Saint Posted 5 February, 2013 Posted 5 February, 2013 what a terrible sport.... What an amazingly complex argument you make. I'm almost convinced...
Ekelund24 Posted 5 February, 2013 Posted 5 February, 2013 Written in the script for Lewis! Season is far to short. Looking to get English teams in over the next few years..... Should be a laugh. London monarchs were terrible! The only way to make the season longer is for teams to play every other week, or for teams to have a few two week breaks during the season. OR make the roster 60 players. I think within the next two years we could be up to 4 or 5 games in this Country! Just had a quick check and according to the unofficial rule (of the last few years!!) that the winner of the Super Bowl is the team the Eagles play first at home, the only teams that can win next year are: Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Kansas City, San Diego, Arizona
Saint 76er Posted 5 February, 2013 Posted 5 February, 2013 There has already been much discussion about reducing the pre season exhibition games and starting the regular season earlier. This would increase the season to 18 games and reduce the exhibitions to two games. Like most American sports NFL is very traditional and don't seem prepared to make the move just yet. Fans, though, seem generally keen and I think it will stay on the agenda. Four pre season games is a bit much leading into a 16 week season and most clubs only run a reserve side in the last of them anyway. Might as well get two extra proper games in while the weather is good, imo. Tangentially, the weather will be a major factor in next years SB as it is scheduled for NYC (Giants) in an outdoor stadium. Gutsy decision that one ...
Dr Who? Posted 5 February, 2013 Author Posted 5 February, 2013 I would love to go to the Super Bowl.... What you think my chances would be? Zero I would say!

Ekelund24 Posted 6 February, 2013 Posted 6 February, 2013 Why are they the only teams that can win?? The last four Superbowl winner were all the Eagles first home game of the season. The list is all the team that are playing at the Eagles next year. Also, all the NFC Champions since 2006 have beaten the Bills in the regular season (next years the Bills play the NFC South) Looking at that stat as well it looks like either: Chiefs or Chargers beat the Saints or Falcons in the Superbowl!!!!

Window Cleaner Posted 12 February, 2013 Posted 12 February, 2013 The last four Superbowl winner were all the Eagles first home game of the season. I confidently predict that next years superbowl NFC team will be playing in the Eagles first home game of the season and the Eagles first away game of the season In fact in all of the Iggles games next season.

alpine_saint Posted 18 February, 2013 Posted 18 February, 2013 It'll be the Jaguars who move over here in 6/7 years time. Yep. they have already agreed to play one home game per season at Wembley, starting this year, for 4 years. 49ers play them at Wembley on 27.10.2013.

Could still be the Eagles or Chargers amazingly after that crazy finish to the last AFC wild card place!! How did the Dolphins go from 6th to 10th in the AFC!!
