Paul Allen owned a number of yachts.
He once owned the vessel (RV PetreL) which was bought by an American Research company and recently capsized in Leith Docks.

The whole Paul Allen thing was all very dodgy, when the newspaper article appeared, the price shot up and a certain person sold all his shares.

I came across a press cutting from the Telegraph today re the reverse take over of SFC by that nice Mr Lowe (soon to be installed as an MP in the House of Commons??) and his mate Andrew Cowens, by Secure Retirement.
It mentioned the 45 acres of possible development land at Jacksons Farm.
Any update on the thread from those in the know?

I don’t know if the land was sold/leased, but there is a business using the farms former yard and some of the fields are also in use for growing that have been untouched  for many years.
