Interesting that Forte has been named.

 

Any opinions as to why?

Probably because we have to and he will be back in November. Don't see why we didn't just loan him out for the season though

Because his loan ends in November and it allows us to play him if needed between his return and January. We had space in the 25 man list so there is little reason not to include him just in case he is needed.

Maybe Crawley wanted to see him play before making such a commitment.

We cannot *choose* to leave out any player over 21, to leave a space for any other possible signing. We have to include all eligible players in the list if there is space to do so.
