The9 Posted 7 September, 2012 Posted 7 September, 2012 He's not starting for Uruguay v Colombia tonight. Indeed he is not. http:// www. thefirstrow. eu/watch/139409/2/watch-fifa-wcq:-colombia-vs-uruguay.html Remove spaces...
The9 Posted 7 September, 2012 Posted 7 September, 2012 I missed the start, is he on the bench? He's definitely not on the pitch, so I have assumed so.
The9 Posted 7 September, 2012 Posted 7 September, 2012 Yes, he is on the bench. Teams here : http://uk.soccerway.com/matches/2012/09/07/south-america/wc-qualifying-south-america/colombia/uruguay/1172913/

Teams here : http://uk.soccerway.com/matches/2012/09/07/south-america/wc-qualifying-south-america/colombia/uruguay/1172913/ cheers gents, lets hope he comes on and impresses or comes on and doesn't get crocked. Or doesn't come on at all. Perm any three of those and I'm happy. Incidentally, I noticed part way through the first half that the commentator mentioned the blistering heat and how well the South Americans are used to coping with it. I just hope the UK weather isn't going to be too much of a shock to the Ramirez system...

More the overall culture difference from a latin/southern european country would make more difference if anyting.
Hatch Posted 7 September, 2012 Posted 7 September, 2012 3-0 now. Ramirez on. its streamed on bet365 if anyone has an account with them
MOSaint Posted 7 September, 2012 Posted 7 September, 2012 all over 4-0 Colombia. Uruguay were terrible. Ramirez did OK when he come on, tried to make things happen. Some decent passes and good runs. One thing that was impressive was the way he could keep control of the ball under physical pressure.

Tracked back well I thought.
shurlock Posted 7 September, 2012 Posted 7 September, 2012 Gave the ball away once -dangerously outside his own box and was lucky the Colombian attacker didnt punish him; but otherwise was strong and tidy on the ball and if he wasn't beating people, was drawing fouls.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 8 September, 2012 Posted 8 September, 2012 But did he look off the pace? As Vickery is an expert on Gaston Ramirez (club and country) I expect he did.
