Incidentally, I noticed part way through the first half that the commentator mentioned the blistering heat and how well the South Americans are used to coping with it. I just hope the UK weather isn't going to be too much of a shock to the Ramirez system...

Northern Italy has rotten winters, worse than ours. More the overall culture difference from a latin/southern european country would make more difference if anyting.

all over 4-0 Colombia. Uruguay were terrible.

 

Ramirez did OK when he come on, tried to make things happen. Some decent passes and good runs.

 

One thing that was impressive was the way he could keep control of the ball under physical pressure.

 

 

Agreed. He didnt have enough time to make any real impact on the game, but looked tidy and sharp. Tracked back well I thought.
