Yeah I guess, I mean Southampton is pretty sh!t too but the problem on Sunday was at 4pm when I'm wandering down the pub to watch the match I'm finding that they're showing the bleeding Villa game! I'm like guys... Villa are sh!te lets switch over to the Saints yeah but they weren't having it.

how often do you go to matches then?

Well cheesie I dunno if I'm lazy or plastic or whatever but I don't generally like it when the travelling takes longer than the match. What a lot of people don't know is that Birmingham is miles and miles away! It takes me like 3 or 4 hours to get to Southampton and even with all the extra time the ref allows for Ferguson the matches are hardly ever that long!

 

I'll go to the midlandsy games like the Villas and maybe the Stokes or whatever and the odd game when I'm down saff. That's how they pronounce it up here! At night they have a baff! And if something funny happens they have a laff!

Well it still take me about 2 hours to get there, i generally go to 5-6ish a season, but i'll try to go to closer away games, I went to birmingham in the snow last season, and I'm going to WBA away this season

When i was at the reading festival the other day i was thinking that one song by the vaccines "Wreckin Bar" is prime for football chanting. I think it was on Fifa so i spose a lot of people know it or whatever, it goes:

Probably should re-post point 2 somewhere on page 2 in case it was missed. This is not about who can come up with the toughest sounding song, it's about trying to increase the positive noise towards players and team. Let's be honest 'pretty bubbles in the air' isn't proper hard but it seems to work for both players and fans.
