Big_Bald_Si Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Was watching the game yesterday, and watching James Ward-Prowse running about, I thought, bore an uncanny resemblance to Brett Ormerod. A combination of the gangly running style, body shape and silly hair did it. Anyone else think that? A chap in the row behind me vocalised the same thing whilst I was thinking it, sure I wasn't the only one!
Minty Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Presumably this was before he touched the ball or made an intelligent run? Bless 'im, I liked Brett, but JWP is a far more intelligent player with far better touch IMO.

SuperSAINT Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Visually, yes. Football-wise, no.

Ah wasn't talking about footballing style, more the running, looking gangly despite being quite small element.

Badger Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Is there a 'Posh Spice' song eulogising JWP ? If not, any comparison is worthless.
Deano6 Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Yes! I thought exactly the same yesterday during the game and was trawling through google images trying to find the two best matches, tho in truth it's closer when they're moving about. No reflection on their relative footballing abilities tho. Can we make his song: "We've got James Waaaaard-Prowse...We've got James Waaaaaard-Prowse... etc" (be even better since we nabbed him from Pompey where he was a boyhood fan) All together now... Ooooh Posh Spice is a slapper Her knickers have pubic louse And when she's ****ging Beckham She thinks of James Ward-Prowse

S-Clarke Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Appearance wise, possibly. But football wise, he's already on a different planet.
