saintbob40 Posted 14 September, 2012 Share Posted 14 September, 2012 Cork on his way to Newcastle by the looks of his twitter feed. If he is fit he should at least be on the bench. Bad mistake by NA. We are not keeping the ball well enough and will struggle again in the last 20 mins. I do not have a good feeling for Saturday.

Turkish Posted 14 September, 2012 Share Posted 14 September, 2012 He reminds me of a young Iniesta! The three in midfield yesterday were outstanding. You soound like the Louis Walsh of spazboards sir.
Window Cleaner Posted 14 September, 2012 Share Posted 14 September, 2012 How exactly would Cork sign for Newcastle outside of the window? Playing for our U21s at Newcastle tonight is what is meant.

Wes Tender Posted 14 September, 2012 Share Posted 14 September, 2012 Charlie Wayman:- This lad is 17, already he looks like a young Carrick. That's a pity. Carrick might have shown promise when he was young, but he doesn't exactly stand out as any sort of midfield maestro now. I hope that JW-P aspires to be much better than him. saintbob40 Posted 14 September, 2012 Share Posted 14 September, 2012 Ok .......judging by the twitter discussion between Billy Sharp and Cork yesterday, Cork was at that time heading North and had passed Nottingham some time ago. I am aware that the reserves are playing Newcastle away tonight. Working on the assumption that Cork is playing in the reserves game, it is difficult to conclude that Cork will also play some part in the Arsenal game the following day. Accordingly, I think NA has IMHO ballsed up and we will run out of steam in the midfield again at around 4.30 pm tomorrow. Next time with crayons and pictures...... Saint Garrett Posted 14 September, 2012 Share Posted 14 September, 2012 Cork is clearly not it enough to be involved on Saturday. NA isn't stupid. He's better off getting a reserve ame under his belt and building up fitness again, rather than throwing him in against Arsenal off the pace

But we'll have Ramirez available, don't know if he'll start though, so Punch can drop back a notch after 60/65 to replace a tiring CM, or Lallana could do that, then again we could always put Chappers on the bench at least. Anyway if Diaby is out (and the French press say he is) won't Arse have to play the thoroughly useless Ramsey? In that case one of our central 3 will have had an easy afty, won't need to run 8 miles to get the ball, Ramsey will just give it to them. I expect us to get something cos the Arse ain't what they were, and they're at Montpellier on Tuesday. Giordano Posted 14 September, 2012 Share Posted 14 September, 2012 I think JWP is a fantastic english talent and Im proud he is one of ours. I want him to start every match he can. I think he can go to Brazil with England if we qualify. I really do. That'll be Two Portsea Island boys in the team then, what with Oxo. Shame Portsmouth FC is such a shambles that it cant attract its own, island grown talent. SFC youth set up have done an excellent job training the talent from outside its own city boundaries and will continue to make a pretty penny in the meantime. Hats off. One more thing, the youngster Ashley Harris is doing really well for Pompey maybe you should knab him too? Though I guess if he was good enough to make the Prem grade, you already would have.
