Le Tiss makes his love and support for the club very clear. Purchasing a couple of season tickets when he can only see one game in three also shows that if any were in doubt. (Unlikely I know)

 

We need them both.

 

Just hope it doesn't boil to close to the surface, and it won't from Matt's side.

Big fan of the man, he has done an incredible job, but reading MLT's tweets he gave his seaosn tickets to someone else and they were refused entry.

 

This is getting silly.

I think Matt needs to grow up, Twitting that hopeing for a reaction from us sad.

Some of the stuff him and his mates on sky sports news have said in the past is a joke.

Still upset he did'nt get the club no wonder nc does'nt like him.

Everyone will jump on Cortese, but there is fault on both sides here. They both need to grow up, and MLT more so as he doesn't need to come out with stupid comments like this.

Had loads of replies and no one has ever been stopped from transferring their season ticket!!! As mario says WHY ALWAYS ME MR CHAIRMAN????

 

Cortese stopped him from using his season ticket for someone else? Poor form, Nicola... or is he correct?

I'd say he's done a fantastic job for us so far. Anyone who thinks otherwise has an agenda.

 

Both have had such positive effects on this football club in different ways, and it's frustrating that they can't bang their heads together here. Both at fault.

MLT is the greatest footballer to date ever to play for Saints. And 100% loyal one club player.

Sentimentality will not make this club a success.

 

I love Matt like any Saints fan but we would miss Nicola more than we would Matt.

This world is a big place and not all of us will get on.

 

Matt le Tissier is important for our precious previous memories, Nic Cortese is important for our precious future ones.

 

Neither one needs to fall by the way side, both will have our respect for very different reasons.

Yes other people do it, which he's made a point of in his tweets. This is because the steward has no idea that 'saints fan a' is not 'saints fan b'. The stewards would probably notice that 'saints fan c' is not Matt Le Tissier.

As much as Matt has done for the club, unless he has been living in a cave for the last 3 years, he must know how the club adheres to an 'in house' and behind closed doors approach to all issues.

 

Therefore, stirring sh!t on Soccer Saturday and calling a Whammmbulance on twitter is only going to exacerbate the situation, and he knows it. A phone call would be much better.

 

Anyone that thinks Cortese doesn't believe in clear the air talks clearly didn't see Puncheon starring for us today.

That's what I'm wondering. The only way is surely if the club were aware beforehand that the tickets had been transferred and the system blocked their access at the turnstiles. If that's the case then its a totally childish reaction.

Silly feud and nothing good will ever come of it. With such a tough start to the season the only thing we should be thinking about is getting behind the team not hearing the best player we ever had throw a b*tch fit over season tickets and wild stories about saggy chops that are a little too well timed and concocted for some hack to have thought up on his own.

Wish he wouldn't do that on TWITter. Probably a heat of the moment thing.

 

What I meant to say is (I think) he doesn't actually come out and say 'I think NC is a c*nt', but I guess he feels a bit powerless with the other stuff.

 

Just got to ignore it and get on with his life
