alpine_saint Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Sat in front row of upper stand, behind goal that Rickie scored, at Millwall last year. When he scored I inadvertantly jumped up yelling "YES" and meekly sat down. None of the Millwall fans gave a care and I discussed the game with them for the rest of the match. You got big brass ones mate
Weston Saint Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 What a sad state of affairs. Only in football do you get such behavour. Any other sport there is the same rivalry but without the moronic behavour. Shame on all those who support violence of any sort. What a pathetic thread!! Matthew Le God Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Whilst I'm happy to hear the Manc got a slap, I would've got more satisfaction from this thread if it was about MLG getting punched. Grow up.
sotonist Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 Another side-effect of the huge financial pressures that PL football brings. Any trash can get into corporate if they have the money. Is there even a dress code ? I take it the tighter criteria for corporate hospitality eligibility were responsible for the empty corporate boxes in league one and the championship then. Torres Posted 3 September, 2012 Share Posted 3 September, 2012 I'd like to hope that most people in a civilised society thought like me on this issue. We'd be in anarchy if people felt they were within their rights to go around punching people because it offended them that someone was celebrating an event to their expense. Just happens we have a lot of wanna be Judge Dredd's posting in this thread so far and I'm one of the few to point out to them how pathetic they are. FWIW, I completely agree with you on this. Nothing good/constructive will come from this.
