Cannot believe how far we have come in just over three years, it's truly staggering!

 

Cortese has his doubters, but I think it's impossible to question he is the real deal. It's still so exciting to be a Saints fan!

 

Three years ago I never thought saints would be back in the Prem, let alone challenging for these sorts of players. I certainly never thought I'd see us part with £12m+ on a single player.

 

It's just such a shame Markus isn't here to witness it.

That takeover period was bloody mental. Goodness knows how many man hours I lost to it. I've always been an optimist, and historically, a deluded one. Hats off to Markus, Nicola and everyone involved in bringing reality a lot closer to my delusions. Best thing that ever happened to us.

The references to the style of business in the articles above echos some of the reported issues with Blackpool and Bologna. I know I would rather trust in the Swiss style than the other two parties!

 

The football world better get used to Cortese, he is a serious player.
