Yes Boj, thanks for the email, was in my spam email address, hence I didn't pick it up.

 

Now, about this quote, it clearly states on that post that...

Ho basically implied he was ITK with the Pompey takeover and that (reading between the lines re the comment 'you will be left with egg foo yung on your faces') it was a China based consortium/invester.

 

He said 2 weeks ago today that an announcement would be made in 2 weeks (possibly sooner). Baj created a calendar for thi momentus occasion, so we can all ask Ho.... What went wrong?!

Has he not answered this in the other thread.

 

Not really, I havent checked the last day or two, but last time I did a bit of ho baiting, he tried to give himself another week.

When, oh when, oh when, oh when will people learn to stop posting about takeover announcements happening on certain dates? Surely to god even Corp Ho would have learned that lesson after the events (or non-events as it transpired) of last 18 months on this forum. Obviously not.

Latest I've heard is that it could (that's could, not will) happen next Friday (28th Nov). Nothing definite, just the date I've been given.

 

You all love a Friday takeover rumour, don't you? :D

I've been told that Friday 28th is when a deal to buy PFC could be announced (not definite but could happen) by the South African group currently in discussions with Gaydamak. Any news on a new stadium would, of course, follow some time after new owners took charge.

I would hazard a guess, that it is actually, either a,b,c or f, but Ho will tell you it is either d or e, or even that he cannot reveal his highly trustworthy 100% accurate source

 

Which would be the same as all our highly trustworthy ITK'ers and the legal implications of insider trading and breaking LSE rules and regulations :rolleyes:

Possibly, but everytime I feel really good about myself and want to 'bring me back down to earth' I venture onto the main bored, and he seems to be reading way to much into every little detail possible to do with us being taken over.

 

If he is so tongue in cheek, then why doesnt he join us in TMS and TL?

I am definitely not an ITK'er. I just happen to know someone quite high up at PFC who tells me a few things from time to time. However, this info came via someone I used to work with who is involved in the potential deal and passed on the info as he knows I'm a Pompey fan.

As far as I'm aware, the takeover never happened. Save yourself now and stop claiming to know so much when you probably know very little!

I used to find out a few things about how your stadium plans are crap, that was from my old man who is a Director of a very large P*rtsmouth construction firm who initially were tendering for 'Pompey Village' , the old man still gets a few updates from the ITK'ers, and he said that revelopment of Fratton is about the only way you will get a new stadium. OOOoh go me!

 

Secondly, I 'knew' someone who was involved in a few Saints potential deals ( and was very close to being Bournemouth Chairman before they found out he didn't actually have any money), sat next to him in a box at SMS a few times and had a decent chat, I fell for it hook line and sinker, even though I was getting the information first hand from the 'deal-maker' so to speak.

 

I can't wait for you to join me on the gullable numpty step. :lol:
