Will echo that. A shame to see the core of our promotions squad leaving, but it has to happen. Evolution and all. They're not really good enough for where we want to go if we're honest, but it's a shame that our captain never got a chance to play PL after captaining us all the way there. But never mind

Not sure the other arguments cut it either, since other demands will be made on that money. who knows alpine..maybe we did not want to sell them..maybe we thought that a season playing first team football we may be able to get that little bit more for them....maybe the brighton could not afford both transfer fee AND wages right now...maybe there is a fee attached to buy at the end of the season..

Notts Forest are looking for a striker to get them promoted. Exactly as we were. Why would Forest care yet about their Premier League team, they have to get promoted first don't they?

Thats plain gibberish. If they dont get promoted this season, they wouldnt be able to afford the permanent deal. If they do, so they can afford it, he aint good enough for the PL.
