Lazlo78 Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Bolton fail with £6m apparently http://m.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jan/31/middlesbrough-bolton-rhys-williams-bid?cat=football&type=article Maybe it's me being daft, but that article is from January - that's last transfer window...
Robsk II Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Really mixed reviews then. I don't know who to believe! Listen, you blithering c*ckwallet, why don't you just wait and form your own view? Did that honestly never occur to you?
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Rhys Williams is ****ing ace btw. Proper ball player as well so fits in brilliantly with what we need. Only issue is that he can be a bit injury prone...
The Kraken Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Listen, you blithering c*ckwallet, why don't you just wait and form your own view? Did that honestly never occur to you? Or maybe he wants to formulate an opinion before we sign him? What a novel thought.
Whitey Grandad Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Rhys Williams is ****ing ace btw. Proper ball player as well so fits in brilliantly with what we need. Only issue is that he can be a bit injury prone... According to the Daily Mail he has done his ankle ligaments and could be out for three months.
The9 Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 How many teams have stayed up in the last twenty years by being great gong forward but sh*t at the back? how many teams have won anything playing that way? Do you think wed have stayed up in 2005 if Svenson had stayed fit Or wed adequately replaced him with a quality defender not with Jackobson or Calum friggin' Davenport? Teams that do well have solid defences and don't give away sloppy goals. Its not a rule it's common sense. But I wouldn't expect any of the mugs on here to understand that. Just squeal something about it not being in the rules. Stop making me agree with you dammit ! Is mug the new mong ?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 According to the Daily Mail he has done his ankle ligaments and could be out for three months. been there done that!!!
Saint Garrett Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 According to the Daily Mail he has done his ankle ligaments and could be out for three months. Can rule this one out then.
MOSaint Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Nixon just tweeted that scan results on Williams' ankle won't be known until later today.
Avenue Saint Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Maybe it's me being daft, but that article is from January - that's last transfer window... Not impossible, quick early morning affair... Lol my bad..
itchen_dan Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Time to move on. SkyGraemeBailey: Middlesbrough captain Rhys Williams set to miss the rest of 2012 with ankle ligament damage. Massive blow to Boro.
The Kraken Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Shame we didn't get our act in gear and sign him earlier.
