david in sweden Posted 30 August, 2012 Posted 30 August, 2012 Considering the number of international teams and they're quality the number of prem teams with good quality international keepers won't be that high. TBH we have KD and Gazzinga (who looks alright) and our youth keeper, Gazzinga looks like he could quite easily take over from KD and if one or both get injured I'm sure we can get an emergency loan in. It's alright saying saying get another quality keeper in, but they cost money, money that wouldn't necessarily be sitting on the bench every week either.... Any level of international football is better than U21 football or L1. It's only the better international players who are in the Prem. anyway.... ......as for your comparison of KD and Gazza ..we'll have to " agree to disagree " on that one...

They don't rate him at all.

Ive torn my ligaments in my left ankle playing footy a few time and only been unable to play for about a month. :/ reckon he'll be back before then, but to be honest i havent really rated him as £6m player.

Intuition, different perceptions of the positions/roles, likely difference in nationalities. I am not sure S. Americans have a good record of adapting to the English game, and our club in particular.
