Thought all on here with long memories, would like to know (bear with me please mods) that the entitled gentleman above is currently in Southampton general hospital on ward F3, he has had a leg removed, although I am unsure that is what he is in here for at present.

Apologies to anyone offended but this is Southampton related.

Started a thread about him last year as saw him on a train coming back from Bournemouth. Any idea why that has happened? He always walked with a limp.

Someone has bought him one of those TV cards to keep him quiet through the night, he has been quite disruptive apparently.

That's really sad. He was an odd and amusing bloke but totally harmless. Wish him the best...

Lived in and around Inner Avenue for a few years, saw him a lot. Never nice to hear of anyone getting chopped. Doesn't quite measure up to Burping Ron (RIP) in my eyes, but worthy of local legend status. A bit like Mad Alec in Romsey, haven't seen him for bloody years.
